Beautiful setting and great location for visiting Maastricht. Impressive gardens and scenery alongside the Maas. #Book the room including with a picknick basket for breakfast. You can easily enjoy it at one of the great sides of the accomodation.

Great romantic setting and location.

A really spectacular place! Lovely room, very nicely furnished with some quirky bits.  Also coffee machine (with instructions!). Very generous free mini bar, lovely breakfast basket delivered which we could eat outside, full of goodies!  Really super 

Excellent!! 

A really lovely place - we had a very luxurious studio and really enjoyed staying there. Great attention to details  ~ it had everything we wanted for a very comfortable stay. Exceptionally comfy bed. The grounds are divine right on the river and the location perfect. We got a taxi in to Maastricht for 15 euros and walked back along the river - very nice location but don’t walk unless you enjoy walking. It’s 45 mins. You can hire bikes too. We had a lovely champagne breakfast delivered to the room and it was so huge we made lunch from it too. Would most happily return for longer next time  ~ it was perfect. Oh great parking and staff too! Thanks for a lovely stay. The free minibar was a nice touch.

Idyllic

Very nice location at Maastricht Marina. Close to the city yet far away for a quick escape from people if needed.
We spent a night here enjoying the calm. Rooms located in an little castle are clean and functional. I would say that they need some retouching and a little love. 
Team was very nice and a little Highlight is the breakfast service in the room. 

Quick escape

We came back because we were so satisfied with the last time, kindness, dedication, a keen sense of hospitality.

Very friendly staff,good restaurant next door,very well maintained parking.Everything happened as expected.One small shortcoming: because of Covid-19, the breakfast was served stylishly in the basket,where everything was enough except good coffee and the amount of sausage and cheese was very little.We also said.We were told that you can't estimate the quantities exactly yet.Everything good, better than throwing away too much.

Very nice property located just outside Maastricht.15 minutes by bike

During a city trip we took refuge in one of the beautiful suites of the castle. We felt very comfortable at all times. Very nice and helpful staff.

Modernity meets old age

A delightful little castle, right by the water. Very friendly, helpful reception. The facilities are contrasted, very chic. The beds are gorgeous and the bathtub in the room is not available every day. The breakfast didn't miss a thing. A point of departure, unfortunately, was everything in the evening, so nothing with cash. But that was the carnival's fault. Overall, highly recommended!

Carnival holiday

The hotel is actually interesting and located in a beautiful unique location. It served its purpose: we slept well! It's close to the city center and easily accessible. However, it has some major improvement points. Upon arrival, it was very difficult to find the entrance as there are multiple gates leading up to the property and no signage indicating where you should go. This was made harder due to the hidden location of the reception. The room was spacious and there was a clear effort for a contemporary and quirky decorations, the sink is a must-see. A wonder of physics. But all in all, it suffers from major flaws. The bath is in the middle of the room and does not provide much privacy and the water goes everywhere. Something else that was not very clear on their website is that our rooms were not in the castle, but in the adjoining house that used to be the servant's quarters. Our friends got a room in one of the castle towers and they had a much more real experience. Breakfast was simple but had everything you need. It's certainly not the breakfast of a 5-star hotel but it was good. The gentlemen that welcomed us was very friendly and the cookies and macaroon we found in our room was a nice touch!

Beautiful property but lack of planning

We started our stay with a delicious meal at the restaurant adjacent to the castle, the Sofa. Delicious cuisine, warm setting and impeccable service. If you arrive after 6pm, the hotel staff will regularly contact you to give you all the directions to follow to reach your room easily. It is very clear and simple. The parking lot is between the restaurant and the red building next to the castle. The room was very pleasant, very clean and full of small touches of very good taste design.
