A fab hotel on water . We had a great 1 night stay here . The bed was comfy and it had everything you needed ! They served a good continental breakfast . It was cold out so I was worried about the temperature but the room was warm and cozy . The boat itself was moored within a 10-15 minute walk to the centre , so in a perfect location . We would highly recommend staying here .

A fab place to stay

Booked three nights here but only stayed for one. The only reason we stayed for that night is we only got to accommodation at 23.30. Should have been slightly earlier but the company gave us an incorrect berth at the dock so we spend over 39 mins walking up and down the docks trying to find the ship. Could not find another hotel at such a late hour.

The cabin was so small that the two of us, once our small suitcases were in the cabin, could not move at all so very difficult to try and get undressed. To get undressed, my hubby had to get onto the top bunk, I had to then put my suitcase on the bottom bunk to open it. The bed linen was placed on the bed already for us to make the bed. The sheets looked liked they had been used since the 1960’s as they were threadbare.  The pillow felt as if it was filled with broken bits of foam.
You could not sit on the lower bunk unless you bent double …I am only 5’5”! My husband had the top bunk and could not turn over as his shoulder couldn’t get past the ceiling/bulkhead of the cabin.
A tea towel was propped on the porthole to stop water coming in so cabin smelled and felt very damp. Cabin way too hot because you couldn’t open the window.
The noise from other passengers was appalling! I could people snoring from cabins along the corridor and if the person in the next cabin turned over in their bed, it sounded and felt as if they were in my bed.  
Our cabin was next to the toilets so the noises emanating from these, all night,  was something to be believed. Can’t comment on how good the showers were as we left at 8am to go and book into a nearby hotel.
The Wi-Fi only works upstairs.
Can’t comment on the breakfast as was too keen to get off and book into another hotel. So my first day in Amsterdam was really awful as didn’t sleep a wink on the nightmare ship. My husband has backpacked around South America and he said this is the worst place he has ever stayed in.
As I always give a balanced review, the position of this ship was very convenient to places of local interest. Am very disappointed as this is the first time I’ve had to give a negative review
We tried to get a refund from Booking.com but the ship company refused to answer their phones or emails. Clearly, have no concept of customer service.

Survived one night on this dismal accommodation

Very strategic location and overall such a fun way to spend some days in Amsterdam. The rooms are tiny, yes, but you just need to sleep there, and the place has all the facilities you need to have a very comfortable stay. The staff is friendly and approachable :)

an experience

My friend and I arrived in Amsterdam for a short break in May, primarily for the Van Gogh and Vermeer Exhibitions taking place. As this was booked for me I wasn't aware of what staying in hotel such as this one entailed.  The people that owned the boat, (my apologies as I have forgotten your names); were friendly and the atmosphere was extremely relaxed.  I have never seen such a vast and wonderful breakfast, there was something for everyone and it set us both up for the day.  The dining area was a relaxed place, the cabins were small but clean and fairly comfortable and with the showers and loos at the end of the corridor were fine. The stairs were a challenge for me for this is not a hotel where, if you have issues with mobility, it is that accessible or easy to get about.  However, the experience was wonderful but I was so proud and chuffed that I managed to do this as in a few years time I might not able to do so.  I will never forget the Passengership Avanti. 

A wonderful experience all around

Terrible - the reception was closed at 10 PM and they did not leave the keys as they were supposed to so we had nowhere to stay. I wouldn't recommend this place for their irresponsible behaviour. Booking.com said they would solve the issue and we are still waiting.

Irresponsible hotel

I went on a anti with my son … friendly atmosphere lovely day staff comfy beds cabins r very small but to use as a sleep base is perfect!. Will go bk as soon as I can find availability stairs down to cabins look scary but u do get used to them we stayed Friday til Tuesday fantastic value for money

Passenger ship avqnti

As the price was really inexpensive, we weren't sure what to expect, but we actually really enjoyed our stay there!
First, location is really great! 
Second, the shared areas are spacious and very cosy, it was a real pleasure to hang out in the lounge on the evening with all the other guests.
Even though the rooms are really small, they offer a good amount of storage, and a very useful sink. The only black spot is the upper bed, because it's really close to the ceiling, and even me (small 1,61m girl) didn't have lots of space to move in the bed. But it was still comfortable.
Showers and toilets are very clean!
Next time we come to Amsterdam, we'll come here for sure!

Positively surprised

After reading some of the reviews, I was slightly concerned but these were unfounded.
Very helpful manager Maxsh, breakfast was a bonus and nice, cabin is small but you are on a boat ! 
Very central and 10 min walk to central station.
Free coffee / tea upstairs was also a very nice.
For what we paid all in all it was pleasantly enjoyable and would stay again.

New Year’s Eve trip

Stayed here for 1 night with a group of 7 friends. Annie, our host, gave us lots of advice and recommendations on what to do, and where to eat and drink whilst in Amsterdam. 
Breakfast was great too. 
Clean and quirky place to stay.. 👍

Great spot to stay

Stayed in Amsterdam with a group of friends for 1 night on Passenger Ship Avanti.
We were looked after by the lovely host Anni. Spotless and warm place to stay.The location was fantastic and very central.
