Well we went there at summer time so it was really hot outside when we reach there they welcome us with a lime drink it’s very satisfying in hot summer days. 
All the staffs and the owner himself was very helpful. They also offer the jungle activities, jeep safari and many more. 
Only the sad part was the chef was on holidays so we didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast there.

Nice and peaceful environment

Evergreen Ecolodge is a nice place in Sauraha, where you really experience the jungle. The staff is really nice, and Suraj would love to help you with everything. We booked a two day walking safari through the hotel and this was amazing! They work with some great guides and we were lucky to have two really nice guides, whom we would definitely recommend😃. After the safari we booked one more night at Evergreen Ecolodge, because we loved the vibe and wanted to relax in the nice garden. The rooms and the bathroom is really nice and the place is very cheap. Finally the food and especially the Organic Coffee is very good😋.

Best stay to experience the jungle in Nepal

The garden and lodges are beautiful, and the setting is pleasant and peaceful, all with environmental concerns, the team is welcoming and friendly, which gives a super overall atmosphere, the vegan cuisine is top notch! Thank you.

Peaceful and Calming

So much better than a traditional hotel! Everything is great there: the food is delicious, the staff is very attentive and super, the place is beautiful, the concept of eco-responsibility is respectable... nothing to blame. It feels like home and you almost want to stay all day in one of their hammocks, instead of doing tourist activities.

Totally charmed by this place

We stayed 3 nights in evergreen ecolodge, we tried the yoga class and chitwan national park walking tour.
The yoga teacher was professional and very helpful.
The walking saffari was exciting, we saw rhino, two kinds of crocodiles, spotted deers, two kinds of monkeys, and peacocks. 
The tour guides were so knowledgable and helpful
The price for a 6people group was 3200 Rs per person, that was a reasonable price.
The staff were so friendly, always smiling and hospitable.
The idea behind the ecolodge is the only one in Nepal ( we think )
They do dry toilet, seperating wastes, not accuping the land.
They have done a great work and Eco activities behalf of the climate change. They are like a gold for the region.

Chitwan hidden treasure

The sad thing is, that I really wanted to love this place and give it a good review, but this is absolutely impossible: they forgot our booking, which they had confirmed per email before and were not able to finish our laundry in two days though they promised to do so. Actually I could have lived with this, but the rooms are infested with MANY HUGE cockroaches.

Having found Evergreen Ecolodge as the only listing on the Happycow (veggie/vegan app) for Sauraha, we decided not only to eat there, but to check in for our three night trip.

There is not a lot of choice for vegans in Sauraha; in fact, we found nowhere with any mention of vegan on their menu. But having found Evergreen, that didn’t matter - their food is great and we very happily ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there. The menu is fully veggie, and has many items labelled as vegan, and for others, you can ask - the front of house and kitchen staff are very helpful.

During our stay, I had the Vegan “Namaste” for breakfast each morning (a delicious and filling chickpea omelette), and we also tried the muesli with coconut milk; lunch included falafel with excellent homemade fries, and vegetable fried rice (we went on a jungle walk organised by Evergreen one day, and the packed lunch they sent with us was enormous and very tasty); and for dinner we tried the spaghetti bolognese with soya chunks and a dish called “Happy Cow” - a couple of vegan steaks served with vegetables and potato purée, which I swapped with those fab fries the second time I had it. They offer a range or soft drinks, plus beer.

We stayed in the bottle house (a building made partially of recycled bottles), and there is accommodation to suit a whole range of tastes, including treehouses and dorms (in an old bus). Water refills are provided at a small charge in the restaurant - rather than plastic bottles, you can refill as much as you want at a flat rate. The garden is beautiful and you feel very close to nature - beware, however, that this does mean the odd encounter with insects and geckos in your room.

The people working here are lovely - so warm and welcoming to visitors, but clearly also enjoy each other’s company. Special mention to Suraj (I hope I’ve spelt that right). We were very sad to leave.

Great for Vegans!

We stayed for three nights in the eco Lodge, and overall had a good experience. It's a very cute and lovingly made area, the bamboo huts and nests are very cool. The term "eco" is taken seriously, there are dry toilets (which work well), some are shared and some huts have their own. The outdoor showers work well and are fun, they also have a pool that they filled for us on request. The restaurant is nice and has good food, although it will take some time to arrive after you ordered. There is unlimited drinking water for 20 Rs per day per person. 
Some of the definitive downsides: Provision of information about activities was very poor in our case. We were told that the park was completely closed and inaccessible due to monsoon season, which was not true as we booked a great jungle walk and canoe tour with a local agency the same night.
Of course it's an outdoor experience, but the super smelly dogs which would sometimes growl and bark at guests, as well as the mice/rats living in the walls and making noise at night are a bit annoying. Also, as we were there during monsoon season, be aware that nothing ever dries properly, so our clothes started smiling quite badly after one or two days.
You cannot bring your own drinks in even when the restaurant is already closed, and we had a bit of an unpleasant encounter with the owner who falsely accused us of having drunk beer and making a racket the night before.
So overall it is a great place with a great idea, even though we experienced some downsides. 

Great Eco Lodge - with some downsides 

Lovely place and lovely staff and lovely community , if you want to have an experience in the nature and stay in cottage i will recommend this place to you .
But if you’re sensitive about the place that you are sleeping or about insects maybe not a good choice . The best part is that you can take shower and see the sky. I am vegetarian and they just serve vegan and veggie food and it is delicious.

Different experience 

The place is beautiful and quiet, everything you would want on a getaway. However, the service is terrible, for a lack of better word. We had to ask for  simple amenities like towels, or soap, or the sawdust for the compost toilet multiple times, and only then they would listen to those requests. We got our towel on the second day of the stay. We didn't get the soap at all. (They should have made it clear beforehand/after we arrived if they would not be providing it so that we wouldn't have to be asking for it time and time again if that was the case)

In addition, they also charged us almost double for the bus ticket prices. I understand taking a certain percent cut on being a booking agent. But imagine paying 80% more than the original price. Plus, they took a 10% service charge on top of the additional price. 

However, the pool was well-maintained and we had a good time there. If they could improve their attitude towards the people that come there, it would be better for all parties.
