Just on the river bank the location is just amazing and the stuff is friendly. Wifi also works very well. It is the perfect place to chill out. There was only a little problem with fluent water in the bathroom

Best Location in whole Village

I would highly recommend a stay here while in town if you want beautiful sunset and riverside views, a quiet place to relax, and a helpful and friendly host, willing to take the time to make you feel at home and inform you about the options you have for activities, tours, food and entertainment while visiting Sauraha and Chitwan NP.

Cozy Riverside Accommodation With Helpful Management

Beautiful bamboo cottage, with hot showers, comfy beds, musquito nets, and very close to the river. Run by super friendly hosts Sudip and Kabindra,they are these amazing helpful young guy's. 

After a busy time in the big cities this is the place to come at peace. You have an Amazing view over the river, the jungle and every night you'll be gifted with this astonishing sunsets. And With the chance to see all these wild animals like: crocodiles, elephants, rhino's, beautiful birds, mangoose, Buffalo, and maybe even the bear or tiger!

During my stay a rhino payed a visit at the cottage for 2 times, very exciting and what a amazing chance to see these creatures up close! 

During your stay don't forget to;
- go on a full day walking safari! They can organize the safari with you. 
- rent a bike, Sudip will arrange it for you, and bike to the Tharu Villages. 
- bring enough musquito repellent! 
- get a local meal at Taxi's Restaurant.

Relaxing with wildlife.

Wonderful surprise to be so close to a wild rhino this morning. Also deer and many birds. An egret landed on the rhino! Great place, fabulous wildlife views, very friendly people. Good to sit and have a drink here today. So good to see the rhino SO CLOSE!!!

Best rhino view of whole trip

Amazing yet simple lodge for budget travellers, enjoyed our stay to the fullest. The simple rooms in one of the two wooden buildings are on the banks of the river, with every day gorgeous views and plenty of wildlife encounters. 

Sudip, the host, is welcoming, friendly and really helpful! He helped us arrange safaris and was always available to us when we needed him.

Please don't expect 5-star luxury, the charm of this place is in the smaller things ;-)

Simple yet charming jungle retreat

I had a lovely stay here. The lodge is located right on the river which makes for beautiful sunsets right from your room. Sudip, one of the owners of the place, is as accommodating as they come. From recommending places to see and eat in town to giving you rides in and out, he’s nothing short of fantastic!

Perfect peaceful lodge!

We spent three nights at the lodge and were thrilled. It was not so easy to find because it was right by the river and you have to walk down the street and through the grounds. The rooms and bathrooms are basic, natural bamboo cabins. I even had a mouse in my mattress, who chose this as their home. Our nice host switched them out, which was no problem. We walked along the river with him on the first night and he told us a lot about the street and the many different animals. Even on this route we could see very easily crocodiles, monkeys, elephants and many different bunches, incredible! We had a nice car together and we would have enjoyed a great time in a restaurant with a taxi, where we would always have been able to get a taxi, and it was always a great time to get a ride, and we would have had a great time to get a taxi, and it was always a great time to go to get a taxi, and it was always a great time to get a ride, and it was always a great time to get a ride, and it was always a great time to get a taxi, and

Great experience, beautifully situated by the river!!

Very nice little cottage on the river. Amazing sunsets. Super quiet and relaxing. They can organize the trekking with you. The guides were very good.
Don't forget your mosquito repellent as it's just by the river. 

Amazing view on the river

I stayed with pleasure four nights there, a kind of exceptional quiet place, just situated between the center of the town and the Riverside !
Of course, it's not luxuous, and my bathroom should be repaired and improved, but, the view from the balcony (with many animals around) , the magical atmosphere during sunrises, and the kindness of the host Sudip let me forget all the material discomfort, which is finally not so bad for the very cheap price compared to the unique beauty of the place !

The best cheap place to enjoy nature !

Probably the best option if you want to stay down by the river. Early foggy mornings and you can see the wildlife direktly in front of you..just next to the restaurants down there. Simple rooms Helpful and responsible staff !
