When my trekking is finished I stay in hotel prince plaza.this hotel is really nice.Staff are very friendly and helpful.The room is very clean and comfortable.everything is perfect in this hotel.next time when I’m in nepal definitely I will stay in this hotel .

Nice hotel to stay

Arrived here for our first night in Nepal. We got off a late flight (around 10pm) but found the concierge at the reception desk to greet us. When we showed him our booking confirmation from Booking.com he said he couldn't find us on his system and that we weren't scheduled to stay there. They said not to worry and that they would prepare a room for us shortly. In the interim he asked us to pay and tried to charge us more than the price we had booked it for. We challenged this and he agreed to charge us the original price - which was for a "Deluxe Room". 

Getting to our room it was obviously not deluxe - small, cramped, with dirty bathroom, walls and bedding. 

We were told breakfast started at 8 but the next morning when we came down at 7:50 all the food had already gone. 

On our last night we asked to organise things as we were leaving early the next day, we asked if there was anything to pay on our bill which we were told no, asked if an early breakfast could be arranged and repeatedly asked if they could organise a taxi to pick us up in the morning - we later confirmed with them that this was arranged. 

The next morning we came downstairs to no breakfast, no taxi and an outstanding bill for water and toilet paper. When we paid they took 10 minutes looking for change and generally delayed us ultimately resulting in us missing our transport. 

DON'T LET THE PHOTOS DECEIVE YOU.

Bad all round

We landed late in Kathmandu and the hotel sorted us a taxi from airport, which was the only thing that went well. Once we arrived at the hotel they had cancelled our booking so charged us extra to stay their. We explained that we had not cancelled the booking but the manager kept saying he didn’t know we were coming (even though he booked us the taxi from the airport) so charged use nearly double. The rooms was not as advertised and had no hot or warm water. The walls are very dirty (could do with a lick of paint) and the sheets had marks and stains on them, we asked for these to be changed but this was not done.  A real shame as the hotel does have great potential. We felt very uncomfortable here and unwanted. A real shame 

Not great

I've stayed in OYO hotels before and as expected, the room wasn't like on the website photos. If it's your first time traveling in Asia, you would most likely rate this place poor for western standards. The building does have a terrific view over the city though and the staff was kind and helpful; as we arrived late they reopened the kitchen to satisfy our after-hours needs.

Budget Hotel

We was visitet kathmandu recently on July2018. We stayed hotel prince plaza and we experenced here very perfect stay and safety.

 Excellent Service , friendly staff, Nice Breakfast , Center location,
Clean Rooms.

Nice place to stay..very good staff..good food n service..visited Kathmandu in june2018 and booked Hotel prince plaza on booking.com, where we experienced very service at reasonable price.Keep it up..

Nice place to stay

Very disappointed in the service I received in this hotel. Breakfast was supposed to be included, and when paying the bill, they would not offer me any credit to my off the menu food bill.
While the staff were pleasant enough, they spoke little or no English which made it almost impossible to communicate.
Generally speaking for what I paid ($2500 rupees/night), I would not recommend this hotel.

Pass this one by!

Very good hotel very cheap and the breakfast is delicius say hi to Manager Ranjeet. I been there for a week , it was very wonderfull stay .
Staff was very helpfull, nice bed , wonderfull view from top .
