I am frequently for several weeks in Kathmandu and always stay at Danfe Ghar which became like a second home. The always kind and discrete manager, his sweet family, the silent place, green, bird singing garden, balcony and terraces, clean and charming rooms, equipped kitchen, always electricity and internet. A peaceful haven and neighborhood.

Danfeghar is best place to stay long in Kathmandu. I was here from last 9 months and could not feel the home sickness because of natural atmosphare and excelent hospitality provided by Niraj (Owner). 24 hours internet and eletrocity. You must enjoy your stay in Danfeghar, the best and safe place with very reasonable rent.

Danfe Ghar is amazing place in Sanepa to stay,very peacefull, clean rooms and toilets, homely feel, location is perfect. The owners are friendly and supportive.Fruit tree all arounf the guest house givives very natural look and feel..love to stay here!

Danfe Ghar is a great Guest House/ BB in Kathmandu. The area is called Sanepa and it is a peaceful friendly residential area with some NGOs and international organisations. This is actually a good thing because it means that the local coffee shops, cafés, grocery stores and restaurants are good! The owner and staff was always so nice, genuine, friendly and helpful with anything we needed during our stay in Kathmandu. Do not hesitate to ask for tips about what to see and where to go! It was a really nice experience to feel that the owner really wanted us to like Danfe Ghar, the neighbourhood and Nepal. 
The rooms are always kept super clean and decorated in a nice welcoming vibe. I loved the balcony. I can highly recommend Danfe Ghar. I will book Danfe Ghar again! However, the reason I did not give 5 out of 5 is only because of the bathroom and kitchen. Though ALWAYS kept clean I would love to see an upgrade. Don't hesitate to book this friendly, clean and cosy place!

Loved Danfe Ghar!

I heard so many good comments and booked this home but when we arrived we were not given the room that I have booked through agoda but was given a different type of room. The excuse was that they were not informed of our booking. I find that hard to believe as i know Agoda is very efficient with their bookings.
