Etusis Lodge

Usakos

Our tour of Namibia began with four days of acclimatization on Etusis. A wonderful lodge, which is far away in a beautiful landscape. Monica and Johann welcomed us here and perfected our holiday here. We felt at home! Horse riding was the biggest attraction for us and the trip to the desert should not be missed. The Lodge Drive with Sundowner drink was also a highlight, we saw many animals here: antelopes, zebras, springboats, to name but a few. Also, the many hiking trails, to the waterfall and to the dam, are great routes in the morning or in the evening. In the evening we could enjoy a glass of wine together on the hill (snapshots) and enjoy a great view of the pool, and in the evening we could also enjoy a great deal of the sunshine and the sunshine.

Dreamy Four Days in the Wilderness of Namibia

I can only recommend the lodge! It is beautiful (but also quite far away) between the mountains, which you can enjoy during an excursion. The food was the best on our trip. The lodge offers a family atmosphere, but at the same time you can also be by yourself at the pool or in front of the fireplace. The lodges (rooms) are super comfortable with refrigerator and plenty of space. Thank you very much for the good time!

It's beautiful, familiar and quiet.

We had a lovely stay. Super friendly peple. Horse riding was a highlight. Will def visit again. Very relaxing night spent. And prices are very good. Food was great. Met some nice people around the dinner table. 

Great place

Unique place with old history. Nature everywhere, free walking wild animals. Best dinners in Namibia made by local womens. I recomend this place for quite stay lovers. You can feel nature by your self 

Exelent lodge with best dinners

The long travel is worth it. You end up in a fabulous place! We were sorry to have spent only one night at Etusis. Monica and Johan are amazing hosts supported by their dog and cats who make the best customer relationship manager. We had great food while watching the endangered mountain zebras and slept really good in this tranquility.

Fabulous gem - make sure to stay more than one night 

Etusis lodge is an "oasis" in some amazing landscape. The views and the walks that we had from the lodge were like nothing else that we have expereinced.
The lodge is built to complement the enviroment and offers guests a peaceful space from whitch to enjoy both the food and the surounding enviroment. The lodge staff were a big part of ensuring that the experience was memorable.

We had a very relaxing time at Etusis Lodge. Monica and Johann and the entire staff treated us like friends and took good care of us. The "silence" day and night was unbelievable. Our little cottage was clean and spacious with AC.Horse-back riding possible. The food was excellent.


A wonderful stay at Etusis Lodge

What a peaceful place .... Monica & Johan made me feel home - so caring, helpful and most friendly. I enjoyed the whole relaxed and very familiar atmosphere so much. The Sunset Horseback Riding was a fantastic experience and also Hiking all by myself was perfect. Next time I'll stay longer :-) Thank you so much!!!

Wonderful stay!

The local people and the staff were very competent and very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were plentiful and very tasty. My accommodation was on the edge of the site, so the WiFi was not available here. Unfortunately I didn't see as many animals as expected.

This accommodation is one of the most beautiful that we have ever visited in Namibia. The rooms (small houses) are very clean and well equipped. You are not missing anything. The food was excellent and the kitchen was very nice. It was very nice to eat and chat with the other guests at the table. We were lucky because the other guests were also incredibly nice. It was great that you could have as much of the rich buffet yourself as you wanted. At the fire station you could finish the evening comfortably after dinner. We made two trips. The next morning we went on a very nice, very long trip with my two children. We were able to go there as experienced riders with a very safe ride and also to swim with the Plumber Plumber, which was also incredibly nice.
