Average comfort. Summary cleanliness, uncomfortable beds. There were no sheets but some kind of polar blanket...it shouldn't be systematically washed to every customer...hygiene??? It was very hot in the room, thankfully there was air conditioning. WIFI is laborious. namely: the reception is located on the fourth floor of the building. Our room was on the seventh floor. Breakfast is very limited. We paid for the room in local currency, the reception did not give us a favorable exchange rate at all...so if the price is stated in dollars at the reservation, you prefer to pay in this currency.

Very friendly and helpful owners who go out of their way to make your stay comfortable. They provided us with coffee before a very early flight and helped to confirm air tickets. I think think really made our stay. 
The location is outstanding. A little tricky to find at first, but very central especially if you arrive by train. 
The shower was fantastic and the bed comfortable. Decent breakfast, air con and HBO movie channel. Refill water bottles in the corridor. Wifi a little slow....
A grab and go convenience store is across the road. Try the 999 Shan Noodle restaurant in 34th street too!


Does the job!

Surprisingly: the building's entrance is a bit glaucy, the reception on the 4th floor and the sharing of the upper floors between private apartments and rooms... Surprisingly also the basic breakfast on canteen style tables, the 3 person room chosen to have a window and bathroom was large, but household to be done (cafards).

Cheap but nice hotel in downtown

Positive: 1) The Chreey Guest House is located in a relatively quiet street and the rooms are on the seventh floor. Nothing comes up from the noise of the city. The house has an elevator that has always worked during my stay. 2) The price includes a breakfast. It consists of toast, butter, marmalade or any other local food you choose. Everything is unlimited. Friendly staff. Doing what you want for your drink. 3) WiFi works flawlessly. Negative: 1) You are expected to pay with foreign money. So you have to change money before you even pay the bill. 2) In the rooms without the windows it smells good. Despite the smoke, it gets away.

Good location, pleasant stay, happy to be back.

Friendly and helpful staff. They let us check in early and also have breakfast on our arrival day, very handy as we had been on an overnight bus. They helped us arrange a taxi to the airport. The bed and pillow were comfortable. The shower pressure and heat were good. Aircon was cold. The breakfast was ok, toast, some fruit, Asian style rice, etc. Location was ok. 
This is a budget place, good for 1 night. 

The shower drain blocked up after 15seconds of showering and I felt like it was going to overflow into the room. There were ants in the floors, walls etc. The blankets were basically large old towels.

After a while, you get a sense of prices and what's being offered for it. Here it fits perfectly. Clean and the line very friendly and welcoming. Even the late shower was no problem. Keep going!

Price-performance is right!

This was our first time staying at Cherry Guest House and we enjoyed our few days very much. The location is great and the staff very friendly. On arrival they came rushing down the stairs to carry our ports to the first level where the office is located. We stayed at a higher level so made use of the lift to our room on 7th level. Breakfasts were slightly different each morning and you can help yourself. Fruit also supplied with breakfast. We will return.

First night in Burma. Top service, we had chosen a windowless room so as not to be disturbed by the noise, this one was great with top wi-fi, top staff, impeccable lunch! We would take a bus late afternoon and on our way back to pick up our bags, the staff offered us a shower, thanks again for this delicate attention. They do not make a reservation but the small agency they work with is 50 m away and they are very professional. The hotel is very well located (exchange office, temple bars... ), tourist centers are accessible on foot and from 6 p.m. onwards... the adjoining small streets move into a small fast-food restaurant shop.

There is an elevator, the price is better than all the surrounding guesthouses (22,000 for clean double room with balcony and air conditioning and common SdB), the neighborhood is well located, the street is quiet, the little dej is very good (with Nutella at will, imagine), the staff is dedicated, the wifi works very well, what more can I ask?
