Lovely staff gave me all of the info I needed to know!
Would be more than perfect if you travel in a group of 10 like me.
The curtain did a good job in giving you a private space.
Good price and free milk tea is a plus!

Good hostel

I chosen one private room. there is 2 beds and the room is big  and clean and has facilities that you need to but I have changed the room once time because a/c did not work so hope the hostel fixed it.

Good Hostel

Cheap price but the facilities not well taken care of. There are no water in the bathroom on the 1st floor. All the guests need to take shower on the ground floor. The light on our room is not functioning. But the receptionist were helpful

Good value for money

There are 2 under the same name, one is a hostel one is a guesthouse. We stayed in the guesthouse. Nice and quick with the check in , staff speaks English. Shared rooms are clean and tidy, every bed has curtains , reading lamp and power point. Free wifi is good, free breakfast too. At the desk boy receptionist called Palatar booked hostel and bus ticket for us. He is amazing at job! Need a pay rise! Thanks staff of 4 rivers guesthouse on the 10th street in Yangon. Great place for the first 2 nights in Yangon

The location is good. They were kind because they put us in for breakfast before the hour. We were charged a deposit for the key to the room that also didn't work. A fair breakfast. Fatal cleaning, the backs of the edredones with the rotten cremellers and the edredones so dirty that we had to turn them around. Much noise from the pipes. Very small room, without closet and without fridge, without window.

We've seen a lot on our backpacking tour of Southeast Asia, but we've never seen a hostel so flimsy and dirty. We've rented out a three-bedroom for two nights, we didn't stay there for a night! When we entered the bedroom, we were greeted by an intense mold smell. In the corners of the room, there was black mold on the walls and ceilings. When we looked closely behind the mattresses, there was dirt, dust and hair! There was even mold in the closet! Even in the community bathroom, there was mold and dirt! The only light we saw is that the very nice staff really are not a night in this hostel! We loved the alternative and we had a sleeping spot in the closet.

A shady hostel with friendly staff

Mahagandayon Monastery in Amarapura. One of the largest teaching monasteries in Myanmar and a home up to 2,000 vocational monks, nun and novices. We managed to catch the monks lining up silently for their meal of the day when we arrived. Very systematically and worth to visit. 

Local Cultural 

We booked a room for two and they gave us one for three. A very large, unpolluted, modern room with air conditioning running on a rooftop, which we are very grateful for because we spent a horrible heat in Mandalay. Breakfast on a roof terrace Modest but enough: two salads to prepare a tortilla, bread, butter, jam and some fruit. The only drawback is that you don't have towels. You can rent them for 1000kiats at the reception.

Genius is a genius.

Nice little hostel clean and nice. The bedrooms are all new and nice and the staff are welcoming and fill you up night and day with a smile. Small but nice street rice and room with TV and order on the floor. The bathrooms are nice too, clean and hot water, not always the case in other hostels....

All right, all right.

The hostel meets its requirements, the staff is friendly, the rooms are nice but somewhat small, the internet doesn't work at all, and the hostel is a little far from the main attractions.
