What a pleasant surprise. 

The quirks of Burmese hotels can be charming, but after 3 weeks of 'charming', a night at a place like Hotel Memory is welcome. Modern bathroom with large shower and plentiful hot water. Comfy beds and BBC News on the TV. Small refrigerator. Bustling activity on the nearby streets, but perfectly quiet at night.

Breakfast is served in a huge space on the top floor. Great views all around and a wide variety of food on offer.

As always in Myanmar, super friendly and helpful staff. They verified the basics regarding the ferry to Mrauk U--walk down Main Rd and buy your ticket at the office day before; the hotel can't buy it on your behalf. They hailed a tuk tuk to drive me to the boat dock the following day.

I didn't see a single tourist while in Sittwe, so spend the night and enjoy the experience. It's not as bad as most tourists would lead you to believe.

Wonderful hotel

Clean and comfortable room, clean bathroom, excellent restaurant, good internet connection, very kind and available staff, air conditioning and TV.

Clean and comfortable

I stayed for just one night at the Memory Hotel in Sittwe. It has some limitations in terms of location and facilities but seems to be the best option among the hotels in town. I plan to stay there again next time I go for a visit.

Liked:
-Decent breakfast including specialty coffees
-Very clean room and facilities
-Lots of hot water in the shower
-Pretty good value for money

Disliked:
-Some of the bathroom fixtures didn't work properly
-Very old bottles of beer in the mini-fridge
-Somewhat bizarre furnishings in the room with 3 single beds

The best of the bunch in Sittwe

Not cheap but one of the best hotels in Sittwe. Very central, close to "Main road" which is the main road ;-)  The rooms are nice and clean. 
The restaurant on the top floor has a great view of Sittwe town and the river; breakfast is very good too.
The staff are helpful: In my first room the AC didn't work, but after five minutes trying the staff moved me to another room.

One of the best hotels in Sittwe.

We have stayed here several times for work in the past two years and it remains the nicest restaurant in the area. It is generally busy with NGO staff and other internationals using it as a base when they are working up that way. The staff are always very helpful and friendly. The rooms are spacious and even though the building feels quite old they keep the rooms clean and fresh. The lift is a little shaky but safe, 
The restaurant is very good here too. Good food at decent prices and a very big selection of both Asian and Western dishes.

Best Hotel in Sittwe

The hotel is centrally located. Most of it can be reached on foot. Be it the fish market, the port or various attractions. The hotel is quiet. It has a fantastic dining room with a very good breakfast buffet. The view is wonderful.

Nice, well located hotel

Modern and well equiped clean rooms. Location is good, quiet and all of the city easy to reach. Compared to other places in Myanmar it's a bit overpriced, good hotel but nothing special. They serve a good breakfast on the rooftop overviewing the city.

Inside the valley city

It's a simple hotel in Sittwe but there aren't many others. It's a bit expensive. Clean room, OK for one night. When there's a power outage, you have to do acrobatics by climbing on the head of the bed to put the switch back on! It's funny. No elevator, breakfast restaurant is on the fifth floor.

Simple hotel, clean room.

Hotel without much charm in any environment, but comfortable rooms with simple furnishings, a satisfying step in a city that doesn't have the right hotel resources
