The room was OK, but the staff was sooo nice, they change us the room for another more expensive without extra charge because upstairs was so hot, and we had not asked for! When we are waiting for the bus I sitted in the hall and they gave me a pillow to be more comfortable ..The staff help us all the time, they are so kind

Staff really really kind

We stayed here because of the location and the price. The cushions were too high, which made it uncomfortable. We had a ventilator but the light went off every two by three (it's the people's thing) so we had no light or wifi. Breakfast was plentiful and the girls were very nice, but I wouldn't stay there again as after 3 days of hiking I think it's better to spend a little more to be more comfortable.

 Economy with good location

Me and my friend would definitely recommend this hotel! The staff is sooo friendly and helps you with everything. The rooms are so cheap and therefore quite simple but there is a good shower with warm water (it needs 2-3 minutes to get warm though). Breakfast is included, you‘ll get some eggs with toast as usual, a fruit plate and coffee/black tea. The hotel is well located in the centre of Nyaung Shwe and close to a lot of good restaurants (the Paw Paw Restaurant is highly recommended!).

simple and well located hotel with super friendly staff

Good budget hotel around Inle Lake. Located right next to the canal from where you can take boat ride into the lake. Lot of activities in the morning on market day and you can see the locals. The staff is really very good, breakfast is nice and plentiful on the terrace with views. Wifi is good at the reception area, not so good in the room.

Great staff

Choose by chance, we recommended this hotel all along our trip. Discrete accommodation, any rooms and yet it smells good!!! Small terraces available, plenty of breakfast, two of us got sick and the manager didn't hesitate to make them rice and soup, gracefully.

Absolutely lovely experience! We booked over the phone since there was no more availability on booking.com. Paid $12 per double room/night with lovely breakfast on the balcony (superb coffee). Location is great- right on the boat jetty! The thing that I loved the most was the customer service- simply FANTASTIC. I got sick on the 1st day (stomach bug) and the owner couldn't be more helpful and accommodating with serving me hot water whenever I  wanted and plain toasts for breakfast since i couldn't eat anything else for 3 days. Moreover, thanks to JOY stuff/ affiliates we made it to the lake boat trip as planned (the guy we had booked with on the previous day, doubled up the price on the day of the trip...:/). The girl at the reception called a boat driver and we were on our way within 10 min, paying the original price of 20000 kiets/boat- it was festival time. Apart from that, at Joy, we got useful advice regarding biking around the area and booked our bus tickets. Couldn't ask for a better service! If you are staying at Joy, do book the boat tour with them! Totaly with it!

The room was very average with standard Asia bed and bathroom. Mouldy/damp smell throughout, no aircon. 

For the price (15800 kyats) the value for money was low but it was the cheapest option in town. Breakfast was ok and staff were friendly. 

Budget option for Inle lake

Basic room with clean private bathroom very welcoming staff good breakfast served on a terrace hot water capricious just be patient or notify the reception

Good price and quality!

We were the only ones in the hotel and we were given a room with sticky walls, the bathroom extremely dirty, cockroaches walking around the room and a long one etc. The hotel seems to be carried by some young girls, one of whom was huge and the others a 0. They passed screaming or singing loudly at any time, one day before six in the morning and we couldn't go back to sleep of the scandal they were making.

The worst we've ever been in.

The hostel is conveniently located, close to the bus stop and the downtown area, where you can take the boats or bike to tour the lake Inle.The hostel is small, the room was spacious and with window to the outside, shared bathroom in good condition.The staff depends on who serves you, on the one hand one of the girls served us very well, helped us with the reservations and did us a favor of refunding us one night because we had to leave a day earlier, on the other hand the other girls were not very interested in attending, we commented that there were ants inside the room and didn't bother them too much (other rooms had the same problem).The basic breakfast, toasted with eggs and fruit, was fine.
