We have travelled all around Morocco staying in high end riads, this riad was by far the best and most authentic. The customer service was incredible, I'd highly recommend taking the half day walking tour and the riad does lovely breakfast and we had an amazing dinner one night, best food in fes.

Best riad in Morocco

Positive points: proximity to the centre, the blue door Bab Boujloud, in the old medina. Welcome to the English-speaking host (he understands a little French but speaks very little) as well as staff. Good evening meal: copious, on demand, adapted to diet and taste. Entrance/Plat/Dessert + mint tea. Very nice interior. Quiet location despite the central proximity. Comfortable and clean suite. Breakfast: pancakes and orange juice made. Negative point: if you eat breakfast early (in our case, 7h15), very little because they are made in the morning and nothing is still open at this time... Piscine resembles a basement at the bottom of the central Taxe 25€/doh/person/day.

To find out, Fès

The riad itself is a bit old, but all the rest is excellent. The staff is the best!!!! They are all very friendly and willing to help and make the stay the most enjoyable possible (Assif goes above and beyond to make guests welcome). We had dinner at the Riad and it was very good. Location is also excellent, super close to the Blue Gate and in the middle of the medina.
Ask Assif to book a tour with Abdul. He knows a lot about Fes, the culture and history. Its worth a tour with him, even thought he takes us to some shops for us to see the presentation (a bit unconfortable sometimes if you dont want to buy anything, but its all about knowing the local culture anyways). 

A bit old, but excellent!!

The location is in the heart of the Medina which is not too far from the Blue gate.(5mins walking) You can easy access by Batha la post, and very convenient. Beautiful interior and rooms. It is an old house then renovate into a beautiful Riad. Rooftop terrace is a great way to end the day overlooking the Medina . Every second of the stay was excellent. Everyone goes out of their way to make the experience perfect. Thank you for your great host!!

Memorable riad and BEST SERVICE in Morroco

Pros: Gentle staff. A young man met us, helped us park the car for 20 dirhams near Medina and brought the suitcases, and then went with us to the car again when we forgot to charge. We had a great good family room upstairs with a separate room for children. It was not very far from the entrance to Medina. We walked to the main attractions of the city.

A good riad on a quiet street.

We spent three nights in this half boarding house in Riyadh. The room (Suite Aziza) is very spacious, it's very well arranged with a separate room, lots of seats to rest in addition to the beds. Simple and functional bathroom. The staff is LOVELY. Every day, Haccine asked us what we wanted to eat for dinner. We had famous, full-bodied couscous and tajine. One, they even made us two different dishes because I didn't want meat. The lunch is very good with Moroccan pancakes made at the same time. It is located in the hyper and very functional medina.

It's a great location.

Very nice location in the heart of the medina. very kind and helpful staff especially Yassine always adorable with the children. golden cooks, ordered the same day fresh and delicious Moroccan dishes, better than in many restaurants! we recommend.

Excellent price ratio

I've been in this riad for 4 nights with my family. I'll tell you right away that it costs a lot higher than average compared to other riad where I stayed. The structure is very small, there are only 6 bedrooms and it's not very well maintained: raised and missing mattresses, air conditioning not working, bathroom in disastrous conditions, room on the roof that should be a Turkish bathroom that smells of wet etc. I'm saying it costs a lot because in riad services are practically zero except for a limited breakfast with a Moroccan specialty offered. I'm saying: there's no toilet toilet or shampoo in the bathroom, there's no personal credit, there's no credit card, there's no toilet paper for bags or flashcards in my reception room and it's not even possible to ask the French language because it's as good as it sounds in France.

You can 't improvise adventurers.

I'm not saying that the guys, although inexperienced, don't make any effort, but it takes a lot more to run a tourist facility! The Riad wouldn't be too bad, but it's not very well maintained: there were a lot of problems in the room, the front of the bathroom furniture was hanging, a couple of sheets were very dirty...nothing very serious, really, but from these things you can sense the customer's attention! Breakfast, all in all, was good. You only pay in cash, not credit card or Paypal.

There's better than that!

Point +: - Location: central, near the blue door, near restaurants Point -: - welcome smiling but simple. The two young people barely speak French and make us pay an approximate stay tax without explanation! - old room and lousy bathroom will require a lot of renovation work. The curtain wall has fallen, the shower support is broken.... - correct bed but dubious sheets (ripped, dirty...) - no manager met, just two charming young people but too salesman (insult for us to eat in their own, let's reserve their taxi for the airport which is twice the price in the street... a little awkward - a very simple hotel) Compared to the rest of the city.
