15665 reviewsThe most important thing for me to choose the resort is the beach. I come to Cancun for the beach, not the pools. It has be clean and calm like a pool with little waves so that my kids could swim. This resort provides me just that kind of beach. I love the beach here and I tell you why. This is our 3rd time here in this resort. We spent a week here on the 4th of July week 2019 and had a blast. They put some man made sandbags that block out the strong waves so that the waves would not be too strong, and my kids could swim safely. Just like a pool. There are a lot of fish and you could snorkel right there. I thought that was a brilliant idea. If you like strong waves, you just walk a few hundred yards to Tulum, the sister resort , and enjoy a stronger waves. I had visited other Cancun resorts but I could not swim at the beach there. However, with the special modification of the man made sandbags island blocking the waves, it made a huge difference. I could let my kids ( age 9 and 11) swim there all day without much concerns. Plus the price of this resort is unbeatable deal. Book direct to their website and you will get free transfer from air port to the resort.
