Simply a wonderful place and wonderful services for very low price. Hotel is beautiful. Rooms are big and comfortable. It is a 4 star hotel as minimum. And above all the man at the reception noto the owner bit the one who manage everything is a very very good person!

Simply the best

It is very quiet and comfortable, it has everything you need. There are different rooms, the one we got had a kitchen and refrigerator. It has a hot and cold water dispenser for preparing drinks. It is very quiet, its family atmosphere makes it cozy. The staff that serves it is very friendly and willing to help. In general, it is a very good option for staying.

A welcoming environment and very good treatment.

A small, central hotel, about 3 blocks from the pedestrian street and about 5 blocks from the main square, you can rest very well as the street is very quiet and is virtually alone from 9:30-10 pm, but it is well lit and is quite safe to walk around even at high hours of the night. The hotel is type casona with a very nice central courtyard and the surrounding rooms. The rooms are small, decorated in rustic style and are quite calientitas, have tv/cable and wifi worked very well, the bathroom looks new or recently remodeled so it was quite good. The hotel has parking on a plot about 2 blocks from the hotel.

We found each other very well. Hotel with a nice traditional indoor patio, nice rooms and very kind staff. Great location, it's quiet but very close to the center. Good quality price ratio. If I have to find a defect, a chair would be useful in the room.

Very nice typical hotel.

I liked the layout of the room and the decoration of the common areas, but the room was square, which I suppose was generated by the September earthquakes, and it was not completely clean when it was occupied.

Well, that can be improved.

My stepdaughter and I stayed at the Hotel Molino del Cerrillo for 5 days in December.  Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly and helpful.  We were here during a religious festival, and appreciated the fact that the hotel was close to all the shops and restaurants while still being removed from the noisy crowds.  We found the hotel to be good value for the cost.  Bear in mind that, if you come in the winter months, it can be quite cool at night and there is no central heating.  The beds, however, have lots of warm blankets.

Comfortable hotel close to everything

The hotel is located 5 Minutes from the tourist street which is a perfect location to be at. During the night it is really quite and perfect to sleep. The hotel itself is really clean and the staff are really kind, cordially and helpful. Always when I had question or I needed something the staff always helped me out. I really enjoyed my stay in Hotel Molino del Cerillo and if I will come back to San Cristobal de las Casas I definitely would stay there again. 

A lovely stay in Hotel Molino del Cerrillo

Very characteristic colonial structure, in an ideal location compared to the city. Available and friendly staff. To improve the lighting of the rooms, Wi-Fi and cleanliness: it is good that the humidity in the area is extreme, but the sheets resulted in the limit of the wet (I recommend in case a dehumidifier).

Colonial Hotel

This hotel is located just a 5 minute walk to good restaurants and a 10 minute walk to the central square and market.  The hotel is typical colonial style with rooms situated around a beautiful central courtyard.   While the building retains its old character, the rooms are clean, comfortable and modern.  My room had a  mini-fridge and hotplate for coffee and tea and the bathroom had a large tile shower with rain shower head.  The bed was actually in a loft, accessible by stairs.  There was a desk, good Wi-Fi, cable TV and lots of lighting.  The prices were great, especially during low-season.   Breakfast is available for added cost but was only OK and I would recommend eating out.

Lovely colonial building with modern amenities

We came to the Molino del Cerrillo after we had some really bad experiences with a Hostel. The staff was really friendly and showed us some unoccupied rooms.
We ended up staying here for 6 nights and had a really good time even after having a food poisoning (We got it somewhere else).
The rooms were clean and big enough for the people supposed to sleep in there. They all had an own, modern bathroom. The room was cleaned and the towels were changed everyday. 
The breakfast was good and the breakfast room was flooded with light from the big windows to the garden, where you could sit on sunny days.
This place has a really good quality price ratio. It's not a 4 Star place but I can fully recommend it to everyone who is looking for a nice and not too pricey stay.
