Excellent indeed. Staff were exceptional as was the location and interior design. For the price paid it has to be 5/5, though there were a lot of mosquitos and the WiFi didn't reach the shared dormitory. Would still recommend 100% regardless of the latter points though.

It's a smell that will surround guests and seems to permeate from the building's ancient sewer system like noxious gas clouds rising from Mt. Etna. To make matters worse, most rooms have little or no ventilation (aka windows) which means bathroom business remains everyone's business in private rooms. Kitchen was also a war scene, good luck finding a clean cup in there. Not all bad though: good location, nice terrace and cheap.

Great place ! I strongly recommend

Great location and very helpful and nice staff. And unfortunately that is pretty much where it ends. =( We stayed in room 14 which had two double beds and a private bathroom. The room smelt like it needed to be aired out. The towels we got looked physically dirty with dark marks throughout, we used the two cleanest looking ones out of the 4. There were these flying bugs everywhere and when you would turn off the lights and be on your phone at night, they would fly onto your screen and your face. The bathroom was moldy, I actually ended up wearing thongs even though it was a private bathroom because it didn’t look or feel clean. The water didn’t work for a couple hours one morning so there was no way to shower, flush the toilet after a morning bowel motion, or even wash your face or brush your teeth until about 2 hours later so we ended up missing the Cinco de Mayo parade. There is a breakfast available from 8-10am but get there quick as my hubby came down at about 9:00 and if I hadn’t saved him any bread, there would be none left. Also, the oven didn’t work - the friendly staff member had to find a lighter for me as a spark. I was pretty disappointed considering this place was mentioned in Lonely Planet.

Looks cool but that’s pretty much it.

Aesthetically, the structure was very beautiful, the paintings in the building were beautiful. The common area was very nice. As for the room (no.17) the bathroom area was very small. The bathroom was flooded until the water dropped into the room. The mattress was extremely hard despite being used to a firm mattress. The assistance of the staff was unfortunate considering that we had an accident with the girl who vomited herself in the bed and cleaned everything. The gentleman in turn did not solve the problem because there were no change rooms at the hotel. Al Day paid attention to the guy who had been watching us from the beginning of the various problems we had, however his expression was of surprise when the station manager of the problem he had because it is not something that appears to you the next morning as the answer to the question, a vanity of response.

When appearances deceive

The hostel is very well located and central, I enjoyed the design and decorations full of paintings everywhere. The room was clean, the staff was nice and helpful.

The light in the room is too low in my opinion. Cannot pay by card, only cash.

Good stay in central place with good value for money

Very good location (between the middle of the block and an important avenue through which the metrobus and other types of transport circulate), super friendly staff always willing to help you, very comfortable beds, very good cleanliness and good showers.

A beautiful place.

Nice hostel in Puebla (less than 10 minutes from the zoo), clean dormitory, with warm and good breakfast. Very good value for money! Once a week an evening of intercultural exchange

People of mas

A nice, comfortable, clean hostel, light and attentive breakfast, carrying out cultural and social activities on Wednesdays, my stay was for 6 nights the bed was very comfortable and in that cold season, I was loaned another shelter without any problem, the hostel is several blocks from downtown, a little lonely, but everything is fine.... recommended at 100... thank you!!
