The room is newly renovated and is nicely done.  Hot water was great, internet was great.  This hotel uses a fair amount of air freshener byt not in a good way.  Way too strong a smell and if youre sensitive to scents, be advised.   Other than that a good hotel for the price.

Good experience

The price was good. It was located only a few blocks from the center and the pedestrian street.

The fresh market in the block behind, and the niceness of their staff makes it worth. It's located nearby the historical district. My room didn't have any window and people outside can be loud. I guess they have other rooms, so once you are assigned a room check whether you like it and change it if necessary.

It was ok for me.

The room is very clean and the beds are comfortable but the room gives on the street so some noise is still to be regretted special mention for the bathroom which is very nice

All right, but a little noisy.

We needed a place to stay 1 night, and booked the same day in a bit of a hurry so we didn't really look into the place that much. It is OK, by all standards. The room was small and had no windows, but was clean and the hot water worked fine. I would recommend this only as a last option. It's true that it is in a street that seems sketchy, but I think the town is just like that (a bit loud and overcrowded, with lots of street vendors and such). I didn't feel it got so much better closer to the central plaza, but we didn't feel unsafe at all.

Short budget stay

When it is imperative to stay, this is the last option, the location in the humble part of the historic center most of the old buildings, very clean simple rooms, the TV no service, the bed with old mattress although the saunas in good condition still did not give me confidence and slept without neglecting the bed, free wifi, no noise all night no letting you sleep, no parking although they order you one or two blocks for the pension, the staff very accessible, kind and always in order.

Solo De Emergency is the only one.

The reception lady is a rude, the location is horrible is in a street full of prostitution, bad vibe. How can you get up this hotel for family accommodation. Asco as well as get me out, give $390 in less than 15 minutes.

It is HORRIBLE.

It felt a bit weird when one arrives outside the hotel as it is a busy area with a market around the corner and many women hanging around across from the hotel! However, once inside, the staff were very welcoming. The rooms had no windows and no view!
The bed was comfortable and the hot water and bathroom were ok. There was a TV with Spanish language programming. Wifi was fairly ok. It could get noisy with guests who might sit outside and talk late into the night.

Had booked two nights but stayed one night before moving to another budget hotel just off the Zocalo which was more central.

Clean Budget Hotel in a busy Sketchy area!

Staff was very nice and helpful. I arrive 2 hours before the check in and they gave me the room without any problem. Very clean. The only thing was the others guests next to my room, very noisy late at night and the staff did nothing of course i did not notify them... besides that great hotel and cheap 

Great hotel

The prices are affordable, they manage a good receptionist service, clean.The only place is the noise of the other rooms, if you listen all due to the proximity of the rooms or the thinness of the walls.
