Beloved Playa Mujeres - Couples Only All Inclusive

This was our 2nd trip to Beloved and our 18th Excellence trip. It certainly did not disappoint. We love the very relaxed quiet feel of the resort. We did a split stay with 7 nights at Beloved followed by 9 at Excellence Riviera Cancun. We had booked a terrace with plunge pool non ocean view. There are only 2 rooms of this type on either end of building one. (110 and 119) We loved this room type. Huge light and airy room with 2 patio doors to the large terrace which is all on one level. We were in 110 and had a tiny glimpse of the sea. Our friends had 119 which overlooked the marina and had the largest balcony ever! The rooms are very convenient for the restaurants but still just a short stroll for the beach. If you go to bed early you can hear some of the music from the Lupita lounge but it didn’t affect us as we always stayed to watch it. The beach was pristine while we were there. Very little seaweed and perfect blue colours. We spent the mornings on the beach and afternoons on our terrace. We had perfect weather the whole week. We were very well looked after by Andrea, Fernanda, Alexander and their whole team at Beloved. They made our visit memorable and dealt with all and any requests we made very efficiently. Mex and Paola on reception always greeted us with smiling faces and were a pleasure to deal with. Jorge the manager at Lupita made sure we were very well looked after and we had excellent service from Ismael and Angel. Christian and Cirilo took great care of us in Le Bisou where we had breakfast every morning. Denisse greeted us warmly every day at the beach. As we were there 7 nights, we took advantage of the chance to dine at Excellence playa Mujeres. We were given the option of dining at 6, 6.15, 9 or 9.15 and we chose Spice at 6.15. We were taken over in a golf buggy and brought back the same Way once we were done around 10pm. We had an exceptional meal at Spice. The food was delicious. I just hope they don’t change the menu to align with Coral, like they seem to be doing with a lot of the other restaurants. We ate at all the restaurants. We had one issue at Le Bisou the night they changed the menus where the service was very slow and food not hot but We raised it with management and they made a great effort to put things right when we returned for a second time. We enjoyed all the food. We also took advantage of the free laundry service. You get 2 items each laundered for free so we had our travel clothes cleaned before we left. The whole trip was pure relaxation and we cannot wait to return.
