My husband planned this trip as a surprise (menopause has hit me like a brick wall). We are here now and Day 3 no complaints. It is heavenly! Right now it is a soft opening as Tafer Resorts took over management of Azul in November 2024. We have actually loved it. All the restaurants are open now but staggered times. Not crowded at ALL which we love. Yesterday my husband surprised me with a couples relaxation massage and hydrotherapy and it was so swanky (for us).and absolutely incredible. Best massage I ever had by Isabel, and Lupita was wonderful as well my husband said. We felt like melted butter afterwards! I am menopausal and hot flashes are horrendous, so I couldn't stand the steam room or sauna (part of hydrotherapy--sauna, spa, hot tub, cool plunge, foot scrub and massage) but my husband loved it. We got a good discount as well since they are trying to ramp business up again. Food has been incredible, but the buffet at Caprichos can't be beaten. Best service everywhere, waiters at the pool and beach taking your drink order. Timeshare pitch wasn't bad. We do these for inexpensive vacations. We didn't purchase but owners onsite are very happy! Operation Menopause Sucks is a hit! Weather is just right, plenty warm to swim!
