Be advised this place is not a hotel it's an Airbnb. The property would have received a better rating if we would have known what to expect. Imagine the surprise when we arrived to find a locked door into the property and lock box with a combination lock and no way into the so called "Hotel Casa Lunatta."  Luckily I had my print out with a phone number from the reservation I made with booking.com. Again, no where does it state that this property is an Airbnb. Luckily I had a mobile phone with an international data plan that I could use in Mexico. I called the phone number on my reservation print out and got an answer with an individual who then sent me a text with instructions on how to unlock the two combination locks, what a pain.  Inside the second lock box are the 3 keys. Three keys are required to get into your room. Then two days later the host sends a text on where to pay for the room. We had to find something similar to a 7 Eleven called  XOXO and then had to pay in cash even though booking.com stated that the "Hotel Casa Lunatta" accepts all major credit cards. So, you better have a phone with data plan that works in Mexico and be prepared to pay in cash for your stay. The property is clean and nicely decorated. Again, it was just nerve wrecking having to deal with these unpleasant surprises.

Not a Hotel it's an Airbnb

The hotel is very nice: clean and beautifully decorated. Recently, though, management's approach has changed: breakfast is no longer offered, and no one staffs the front desk.  I did not know about either of those changes before i arrived, and would not have stayed there had I known.  Kayak.com, Expedia.com, Orbitz.com, and Hotels.com still list those services as being offered at the hotel (Booking.com does not list free breakfast, but still says help is available at the front desk).  These listings need to be changed, so that potential guests are accurately informed.  Otherwise I was happy with the hotel.  I did communicate with a staff member by text and email, and another staff member came to the hotel to collect my payment.  Both staff members were extremely nice and helpful.

The hotel is very modern and clean. Perfect if you want to be not too far from the centre (20 minutes on foot) and quiet in the evening. Safe neighborhood. You just need to know that there is no breakfast and that you need to wait several minutes for hot water to arrive for the shower (notice to impatient Frenchmen... like me!).

Casa limpia y moderna

We came from a weekend in Guanajuato and we loved the place. The room Serenidad honors its name, quiet, quiet. Very close to the city center, about a 15-minute walk away. In front of a very pleasant plaza. We enjoyed it very much. Many options for eating very close. We highly recommend you.

Excellent location. 100% recommended

Guanajuato is recognized as a magically romantic place. Casa Lunatta, no exception. This small hotel, located in Ambassador, just 6 minutes from the incredible Teatro Juarez, was witness to a romantic getaway in this beautiful city. The hotel staff, contagious with their good service to live fantastic nights. All rooms, are decorated differently, being a vintage style su style. The services and facilities they offer, are of first class. The beds and pillows are simply comfortable. And for a short while, the season of their breakfast, is transported directly to the kitchen of tuunosar. It seems that you wake up in your house and go to a welcoming dining room, to enjoy a complete service of juices, fruits, eggs, eggs, eggs, and pancakes, and leave behind a very comfortable, well-appointed, well-appointed, well-appointed and well-appointed dining room.

One night, an experience.

Everything was fine but when I checked out I realized that they had removed my retainers (since I had orthodontics and I have to use them after my treatment).I was traveling with my husband on my honeymoon and in all the hotels we stayed no one took or moved anything; they were in a special bag precisely to prevent them from being thrown away in the trash because they are transparent and acrylic, which bothers me that no one offered a solution to the problem and maybe because they don't understand that it is an expensive item because replenishing them will pay me more than $1000.

The lady of the cleaning room took off her orthodontic braces.

We stayed 4 nights at Lunatta House and felt at home. We were quickly greeted by people helping us with our luggage. The whole hotel and rooms are quite new. The breakfast is delicious served in a very picturesque dining room. The location is close to the walking center. Always clean. Very nice hotel.

We chose Casa Lunatta because we wanted to be close to downtown but not too close that the noise would not let us sleep at night. We did good! we were close enough to walk downtown but far enough to have a good nights' sleep. The hotel seems pretty new, rooms very modern and well appointed. Originally we had asked for Room Agua, but the WiFi was poor all the way there; then we moved to Room LLuvia, but it is next to reception area on ground floor and very, very noisy...We ended up in Room Sueño and it was perfect! great WiFi and very quiet at night.
Breakfast is basic and good.

Nice small hotel, off downtown and perfect to have a good sleep

Its hosts are very friendly. The room is clean and functional. The breakfast always with a pleasant decoration very much in line with the location. It has the great advantage of having a parking lot and from there easy access to the various attractions. It is a 15-minute walk from the Jardin de la Union.

Cervantino is the name of the country.

Many of us had to shower with cold water 
There is no elevator and also none helps you get the bags to the second floor. 
Breakfast is very poor although is in off you only have cereal or eggs. 

On the other aide The house is very pretty inside.
