The hotel is in a good location, a few meters from the hotel and close to other tourist centers.The rooms are spacious and clean, have small details with the floor as some balconies rise on foot and have no parking.Recommended for overnight stays.

Centric is central.

Remember if you choose to stay in this area most of the hotels/boutiques are old houses and the streets are very narrow. You can get bigger hotels outside the downtown area but its not the same, you will not enjoy it the real city. 
This is the perfect location, 5 mins walking distance to the plaza, cathedral, museums, bars, restaurants, famous Callejoneadas (guys singing around the city -super fun)...
The hotel itself is very clean, the decor it’s kinda old but nice, TV, WiFi, AC, small balcony with amazing views, big room with a California king bed, sofa, Kitchenette, with no refrigerator, no microwave, a dinning table for 4. 
The city itself is magical, walking at night time on those streets is amazing, city is safe, a lot of tourist everywhere. Bring sandals or some confortable shoes because a lot of walking. 
The jacuzzi top wasn’t working, you can see the towels got some wear. No drinking water but there is an Oxxo (store like) few steps down. Bed is very hard (I went to few other hotels near the city and all the beds are hard) -I used the thick blanket from the closet and placed under the sheets and problem solved the maid left it there and even change in once during our stay-.  
Staff super friendly and able to help with any questions about the city. 
Advise-right next to the cathedral there is a hotel that will storage your luggage for some pesos for few hours in case that you want to shop around. 


Old house converted in hotel-safe city. 

I don't know how this hotel is because I never got inside. On my arrival I noticed they do not have hotel parking. Some person on the street advised me to honk the horn and somebody will shows in the entrance to help us. I honk the horn but almost 20 car were in the same one line street pushing me to move. In the  3 minutes I remained constantly honking nobody showed up to assist me. Then I drove out of the zone and called them asking for help, the lady on the phone told me that they heard the horn, but didn't respond because sometimes is not for them. She advised me to leave the car in some parking lot near the hotel and then somebody would help us to got there. Whoever given the time of day and the day it was impossible to maneuver around the city. Most if not all public parking lots were full. By this point the only thing I wanted was to cancel and move to another hotel in another city. She went on and offered me a parking where I could leave my car, but would be unable to move it for the three days I would be in the city. This is absurd because I rented the car to use it not to have it park for 3 1/2 days. Finally I got nothing from hotel and lost one night payment. Whoever I made my reservation with the free cancelation policy. Finally I resorted to call Hotel.com for help, which they did and were a great. They were able to give me a 2 nights credit. Leaving me with only one night loss.

!!!HORRIBLE NEVER AGAIN!!

Have been to Guanajuato several times. This is the first time we stay here. The pictures on Booking.com are nice but reality leaves something to be desired. We arrived and advised we had reservation, receptionist had no idea if we did or didn’t.  She had to verify the reservation by sending a message to someone else via WhatsApp.  Then tried paying with a credit card because it’s a better exchange  rate and she advised payment would need to be cash. 

The room was okay but was falling apart. Room had a unit which only blew air, I moved it and floor tiles were broken.  Air made room humid which made for a miserable night.  Very disappointing stay. 

Spring Break

Very recommended, because although it is in the center close to all the attractions of downtown Guanajuato, it has no noise from other streets.

Excellent location, friendly staff, spacious and new rooms.

The hotel is very well located, everything close by foot, I think it can improve things cause is not really cheap, breakfast not recommended, rooms with jacuzzi but not working, no hair dryer, excellent service from the hosts. The places is cross street from Diego Rivera, Alondiga one block, teatro Juarez three blocks far away, no parking place but they help you to find one if you book in advance.
