Rats running around outside the entrance and along the bottom floor hallway. Cockroaches around the hotel. Left some personal belongings in the room and they were stolen by staff and the management did absolutely nothing to help me. Said they'd call me back they didn't. Called them for days and they hung up on me 6 or 7 times in a row. Accused my mother of taking my belongings. Incredibly rude owner or manager. Totally unprofessional and ignorant

Criminal and filthy

We had a room on the fourth floor with a balcony. It was clean and furnished in a convenient way. The beds were very comfortable. The room had a refrigerator, a quiet ceiling fan, air conditioning and TV. The room has a small balcony with a table and two chairs (and sea view) and is ideal for drying bathroom items overnight. Breakfast is OK if you like toast. If not, I recommend the small supermarket that has a huge selection of delicious bread and other items. We were there from the second day. The hotel is great. In five minutes you can stop at the bus station or by ferry to Valletta. It's free and ready to go. Yes, in every room in Alborough, I'd say it's okay.

Two-star hotel with small flaws

It's an unsanitary hotel that should be closed. Everything is rotten. The paint on the ceiling collapses on the floor every day, the room smells of moisture, it's dirty, the lottery and the sanitation are out of date. The establishment should no longer be marketed. The only interest of this establishment is its location because it's close to all the amenities and the beach.

There's no cleaning, eight days of staying they never cleaned, they just changed the sheets. We spent eight days with the dust on the furniture and under the beds.

But I had asked for a double bed instead of two and I found three, the TV was not working and my request to fix it was not met... breakfast at 5 euros in abundance.

the only thing that is good about this hotel is the location, you can barely see the staff. And it definitely urgently needs a complete renovation, some things are even dangerous. Don’t go there…………..

Don’t go there

I am here now and it's my 3rd stay here. I've also stayed in many hotels around the island.  I return here because of the location, the price and the kitchenette as it makes a very cheap self-catering holiday. 
I am sick of reading moans about " no bidet" " no phone" blah blah. You get what you pay for.  Don't pay peanuts for a large ,ideally located,essentially equipped studio room and then moan about basic bedding and furniture.  
I have always found my stay of 3 weeks or more to be quiet and comfortable.  Yes I need to buy plug in insect repellant and spray but that is no different even when I've stayed in more expensive malta hotels. Yes there is only a sheet and a cover, with blankets in the wardrobe but I find it adequate for a good nights sleep in a hot country.  Yes there is only housekeeping every few days but I personally don't want to be intruded on every day when self-catering.  Instead of moaning about there only being one cup etc in a review, why not go and ask them for another one. The staff have always been nice to us. You get rude staff at every malta hotel it's part of the fun.
I will definitely return again when on a budget. 

Great location, quiet, affordable and well equipped for self-catering.

We are in room 309 and we had to buy an insecticide (on our own account) because otherwise we would be eaten by ants and not to mention that in the 4 days we have been here we have not had a single spare of clean towels, or room service. Very dissatisfied. I would never return, much less recommend it.

What a disgrace!

Positives-Location was fantastic. Shopping and the sea both a 2 minutes walk away.
Wifi was excellent.
Paid for single room and got a huge 3 bed apartment (no balcony).
Both air con & ceiling fan was great.

Negatives-No hairdryer.
Customer service was bad, i had emailed twice prior to arriving, neither was answered. The man at reception seemed really surprised when i checked in,like they weren't expecting anyone.
On the morning of check out which was 11am, housekeeping staff banged on my door around 9 and again an hour later which was annoying.
The bath looked in need of TLC.

Very basic but excellent location.

From the airport taxi 20€.Hotel convenient to all services.Entertainment 35min walk from the premises and clubs.Stop nearby buses that take you anywhere on the island without waiting for the next pulman because it's too crowded as it used to be at the stops in San Giuliano.Supermarkets and a market that sells profldotti Carrefour) and simply various shops.On the road there is a very good Sicilian bar.Restaurants around (Consiglio: Marrobbio, Trattoria del mare, Risalta e Sciantusi).In the quiet and comfortable container area to everything.Position 5/5.After you enter the impact of the next pulman is not the best.Suggest smell of the ovens is not the best.Suggest smell of the ovens in the entrance to the hotel (but the smell of the electricity in the loaf is not the best) and shops simply vary.On the way there is a very good Sicilian bar.Restaurants around (Consiglio: Marrobbio, Trattoria del mare, Risalta e Sciantusi).In the
