Nice guesthouse, close to the sea, love the terrrace, good service. I like the swedish touch of the maltese house. I recommend this to everyone who don't like boring hotels. This is really nice. Why don't take a glass of wine with the host?

Nice swedish touch

I insist that I am one who is satisfied and usually try to save but here the quality price ratio does not exist. Ideal location in the center of Sliema near the seaside and therefore convenient to buses and locals. The owners are kind, only b&b that provided us with bus parking. The room is quite large, without air conditioning because it pays less than the others, with dated furnishings but since in the room I am going to sleep and wash it doesn't matter much. What makes me give such a low judgment is THE POLICE.....in which I don't transition, nails in the sink, black lines along the bathroom furniture, a large packaging in the tub so that everyone touches it when they stay.....nooooooooooooooooo! Two nights is not finished at least the room has been cleaned (If I had asked for the second night's payment and I wouldn't have spent the second night's trash).

My judgment is poor.

The premise is that we stayed in this B&B for 4 days based on the good reviews read... The location of the structure is excellent and served very well by public transport and a few steps from the Sliema seaside. The two owners are very kind (nothing to say) but the structure is old and attention to the rooms ours was not equipped with air conditioning; it was unbearable both day and night the temperature inside (medium 33°C) and there was only a small fan on the dining room which moved warm air....the cleaning and hygiene leave quite to desiderate (only at 3° the towels are changed, but never the sheets and never cleaned room 4).

It's a good location for the B&B, but watch out for the rest.

We decided to book at bla dorren because we saw a lot of positive reviews the owners are very kind and available!One catch: the hygiene of the room the lack of sockets there is only one in the whole room and also one room does not have the air conditioner.the breakfast is not abundant but it's okay even if you'd prefer local products rather than packaged Stephen sprems the oranges every morning and brings a great squeeze they're really helpful.

A pleasant stay, though with some downsides.

We spent 10 days at Bla Dorren and everything was just perfect. We enjoyed every single day, breakfast is very good, location is really nice close to everything you need and gives you the chance to go and see the old town. Marianne and her husband cared about all details and we thank them very much.

Excellent

The hotel is situated in a quiet alley just a few steps from the sea and the bus stops.The very friendly and kind owners, the unpretentious but good breakfast (fresh bread every morning), our room was very large but the floor was very dirty (only negative note).

Almost perfect.

The rooms have a lot of charm as they have been decorated. The owners are very pleasant and friendly (a very nice marriage between the two). Clean and comfortable. It is located very close to the two bus stops in both directions, which makes it a lot of fun to make the transportation combinations on the Island. It is located in a quiet residential area and with quick access to other areas of more ambiance if you want to walk. Everything is close and is a very recommended accommodation. Breakfast is ideal on the terrace. I recommend it if you are traveling as a couple.. you only have three bedrooms on the first floor of the house (unas 18 stairs).

Accommodation with charm

This 2-storey 100 years old townhouse give you some authenticity in artificial town of Sliema. It is nicely restored by Swedish owner, which adds some Scandinavian touch. 3 guest rooms with own bathrooms, roof terrace, courtyard, breakfast room gives enough space for comfortable stay. Perfect breakfast and functioning wi-fi as well.

Restored townhouse gives you Maltese feel

We spend 3 days in Sliema at Bla Dorren in September.Really liked how well situated this guest house is for walking the Promenade,using the buses or eating out.The house is lovely,quiet,restful and very clean.Breakfast in the courtyard every morning was a pleasure!really enjoyed the orange juice!!Also lovely roof terrace,for an afternoon siesta!

3 days in Sliema

The building is very beautiful, bright and tastefully furnished. The interior and exterior common spaces are particularly charming and very usable. Breakfast is rich and with fresh quality products (fresh orange spray, fried, salt and cheese, cereal, cake or muffin as well as tea or coffee). Stefan is very kind and available without being invasive. The building is a few steps from the sea with a nice walk, pulmanns and various restaurants. They are available in the common parts, DVDs, a pc, umbrellas, hats, silos and fresh water bottles. Our phonine gave on the interior very careless and was also clean (but the thin bottles... The room was cleaned and the walls and asphalt were changed after two days and a good quality of electric carpet and bottles were also installed.
