Seremban

This is the first time I stayed at Oyo S2 hotel. On checking in, you will need to put a 50RM deposit and 10RM tourism fee.

I will highlight some of the things that I like and some cons that could be improved.

Pro:
1.Close to AEON mall and some local restaurants (3-5 mins walk)
2. AC is nice and cold
3. Big room
4. Friendly staff
5. Cleanliness is OK
6. Lift access to level 1 and 2
7. If you are visiting Seremban 2 to see Dr. Kwan, this is the best hotel to stay in cause Kwan medical specialist is 5 mins walk.
8. Complimentary bottle of water and there is a drink dispenser outside at the corridor.

Cons:
1. Mattress is comfortable but the base is creaky
2. Bedsheets old, very thin with tiny hole
3. No hair dryer
4. On first night, my friend's towel was dirty so she asked for a new one but it faintly smell of cigarettes. They change the towel daily so after the first night, towels are clean and do not smell
5. It's a wet bathroom meaning there is no separate shower cubicle. It just takes a bit of getting used to.


Budget hotel 

Located within walking distance of Aeon. Far from the city area, thus is quiet at night. I stayed in the family suite, which was spacious with 2 king sized beds. Facilities were basic and the rooms looked like it needed renovation but still comfortable enough for me to sleep well. Water dispensers were provided outside the rooms/near the lift, which I find is a plus point!

Good location

2 star hotel equivalent to a 3 star. Good location, nearby AEON. Good hospitality. Friendly customer service and easy access to restaurants and shops. Clean and the rooms are fairly comfortable. Would recommend anyone. Value for money.

Excellent location

S2 hotel is situated around an industrial place. Parking was provided. The facilities were not so bad. There were low number of staffs in the hotel. Morning breakfast was not provide and there was no restaurant or café in the hotel. The air-conditioner was not good. The room was a bit small. I felt like I was staying in a cabin in the woods. The toilet was not so bad. The hotel is suitable for one night stay. The surrounding was good. There was a shopping mall located just opposite the hotel. The price was reasonable for the facilities. Value for money.


Nice Budget Hotel

Good location, decently priced and reasonably clean. Can't expect much more from a place like this. I was there only for a night but overall service and efficiency were top notch.

The bathroom shower had low pressure and could do with some maintenance. Room is large and spacious but there's plenty of signs that repair is sorely needed. Otherwise, I have no complains.

Another work trip

Was here for a colleague's wedding in seremban 2. The location of the hotel is a big plus just behind jusco. Check in was a breeze and they provide ample parking.  However there's not much to do in the hotel. The room was big in size, the air cond was cold but the furnitures are old. As the title said.

Ok for short trip

I was there many times on my bussiness assignment. Repcentionists are quite nice and friendly. When traveled there, we ussually dont need to book the room in advance, just register when we were there with standard price 100 ringgit malaysia per night. For me, I get an discount 10% even in the weekend :-)
The rooms are just normal standard quality. No drinking water bottles provided for standard room. Just get water from the machine and electric water boiler in the room provided.
The location is good. Just closed to AEON mall with many good restaurants.

The Uncomfortable things for me are
The hotel has provided meeting rooms/ halls on ground for some activites. I really didnot know what they are, but i could guess that Muslim and Hindu speeches or something like that. And it's quite noisy until 11:00 PM, if you live just near and it's really uncomfortable.

There was one night. It was round 0:30 am when i was sleeping. There were some Chinese teenager guys living the next door, they used a knife and tried to attempt to my room. I hit the door so hard then I called security but the security said nothing then. I was really disappointed

But this is a budget hotel and reasonable price and good location

Budget hotel

Don’t expect the best of this or that if you are staying on Seremban S2 hotel. It’s a place to sleep and gets the job done.  It’s not even a place to unwind and relax. This is the second time I’ve stayed in S2 hotel and I often come here for one night to meet my son (who is in Seremban during weekends).  I won’t delve upon the facilities but I think the biggest advantage of this hotel is the LOCATION. AEON is close by, and there are a lot of eating, shopping, and foot massage places within 10 minutes walking (and 2 minutes driving and parking). I place a premium on this activities so the hotel’s LOCATION is very important to me.  So you can spend your time in other places in Seremban and then take time-out and sleep in S2.  And check out or do your routine the following morning. If you can do that, then I think S2 hotel is really worth the money. If you plan on spending more time in the hotel and enjoying the facilities, then you are probably better served elsewhere. There are better budget hotels.
