DO NOT BOOK HERE! NO hot shower. The trail to hike here is dangerous( i really hope one day a person hike here, fall and die). 
Our bed got blood stain which never been cleaned at all. Nobody on standby. Advertise with WIFI but nope theres no line at all there. My money got stolen around Rm100, i bet the workers there enter our room when we went snokerling. My things we scattered everywhere. Theres no cctv to prove at all. Worse experienced ever. Everyone who works here is foreign workers probably no LEGAL PERMIT. They dont understand the Malaysian values.

Worse island experience with rooms got broken into

Having booked for a 3-night stay this hotel will have managed to ruin my stay on Kecil. Unsanitary room, full of moisture, uncleaned. It is impossible to ventilate, everything is wet: mattresses, sheets, pillows. The bathroom is in a sorry state. The staff is rude, inefficient and inoperative. I changed rooms to find myself in worse. If you like the hunting parts then go dark: cockroaches, bugs and other spiders will have my difficult nights. The location of the hotel on the way between Coral Bay and Long Beach is interesting but the way to get there is not at all entertaining (cordons, varans, unlighted people, people who make light).

Running away - unhealthy

The hotel is also not far from the ferry and there is no way to get there or back (you have to cross the beach for 10 minutes in the sun and then take some unsuitable paths for luggage on the slope).

Unhealthy as Possible

Decent rooms, clean and simple- with good service. Rooms are simple with Airconditioning and bright airy rooms. Only lacking was a water heater (that is if you like hot showers!).

Fuss free, located in the middle of a hilltop- between coral beach and Long Beach. It’s about a 12 mins hike uphill from coral beach jetty or a 5 mins stroll from Long Beach. Good for those wanting a simple fuss free accomodation in a jungle hilltop!

Well, the spirit of adaptation is fine, good that in Malaysia the standards are lower but there's a limit to everything here! rude and unpleasant staff except for a guy at the checkout who was kind. When you arrive you're asked for a cap of 50 Myr as security for the key to the room. (He has a beam like a keychain!! Very comfortable to carry with him) Once in the room you notice that a topia was perhaps more cozy here instead of some c'est the smell of mold! The bathroom will be a square meter... the shower breeze is on the water... so once you've done the batch the cover is almost completely wet.. the laundry room will be 20 cm behind. The toilet paper that gives you a full check-in from the bathroom door to the bathroom, you'll be able to see the rest of the room and you'll still have to look for something if you don't have a lot of room and you don't even have a lot of space to get rid of it!

Weight

Let’s start with the good. This place is conveniently located equidistant to the two main beaches. Around a five minute walk to each. The staff were kind and warm in their behaviour. Now the not so good. This is not a 2.5 star hotel. It’s not even a hotel. It’s back country lodging. For starters, they do not provide toilet paper. You can extrapolate from there. I am not assigning blame to the ownership of the hotel for the 2.5 star rating. I am assigning blame to whomever  is responsible for the unstandardized rating system, as well as customers who play into this misinformation, with or without good intentions. The other piece is the walking path. It is extremely perilous at night. Someone is going to get badly hurt, if they haven’t already. At one point, the path turns from relatively flat terrain to stairs. You can’t see the drop off in the dark. A flashlight can solve this problem, but I would not walk it alone if I was a female. Otherwise, I am open to the possibility that this is good value from a supply/demand perspective. I just think it’s only fair that people know what they’re getting into, before they commit. Great location near long beach. Wifi access very useful.Reception staff member was fantastic at helping us determine ferry times/confirming pickup jetty at the end of our stay.Would go back if I stay on Perhentian Kecil in the future.

A nice place to stay but hard to get there... It is not an easy path to get from ferry to there.
