We booked 2 rooms at the Cattleya Inn last week. The family room and 1 double room. It was a basic hotel with no fuss. The room was clean and neat though not big. Just enough space to keep our bags on the floor. In the family room, there were 2 sets of double decker beds with the one below is a double bed n the one above is a single bed.
The aircond worked well and was very cooling in the hot weather of Langkawi. The wifi signal was also strong.
The toilet was also clean and towels provided. The basic toiletries were there as well. The only regret was, it was so tiny.
Cattleya Inn provide basic food and drinks (hot and cold) thru out the day, in the form of bread, jam, margarine, tea, sugar and 3-in-1. They also have biscuits. Good for midnight snacks!
For those coming to Langkawi to shop, this is the place to stay. Rams shopping centre is right in front!
Looking for food is no issue here. There are eateries next door and around the corner.

The Inn

I feel very comfortable to stay here..because the staff was so kind. The price is affordable. The place is near to rams mall.so we can shop easily. I will give 9.5/10 for the services I give 10/10 and I will come again soon.

My holiday with my family in Langkawi was wonderfull. We didn’t regret stay here. The room was very neat and affordable. The staff here was so friendly and treat us nicely. I recommend who want to find budget motel to stay here. It’s easy to find food and located near the jetty. Thanks Cattleya Inn, we able to spend great 3 days 2 night here :)

Budget motel but worth it!!

The location are strategic near to shop. The bed is good towels suppiled,air conditioning work well, the the receptions is super friendly and helpful  call me a taxi. The service was good and I can rest in peace. I give 10/10.

Affortable price. located in the center of kuah no problem finding food a lot of shop nearby. the interial design is good not like other motel the cattleya in has it own unic. good for all. thankyou to the staff that treat me well and kind..

Since I came across the sea from Koh Lipe, I wanted to save the money for an expensive taxi ride to the beach, and I booked an accommodation in Kuah, about two kilometers from the jetty. This also had the advantage that I had saved money - a room on the beach would have cost me much more - rent a scooter and explore the island. In the vicinity of the accommodation there is everything I need: laundry, several restaurants, 24-hour mini market, scooter rental. Then in a slightly larger circle there are banks, well-available money, doctors, salons, duty shops. The Cattleya Inn is a fairly new concept to me. I think that for some people - the breakfast here as well as the breakfast - I have had a small service in the kitchen and I have had a small T-shirt in the kitchen. I could also get a little extra room with a supermarket and a cup of tea in the kitchen. It all worked out!

As a single traveler, I booked a bed in the multi-bedroom. Fortunately, I traveled in the off-season during Ramadan, so the sixth room wasn't fully booked, but we were only three people in total. So we could use the other beds to deposit our stuff there. If everything was occupied, there would really be a huge space problem. The bathroom is also tiny. It's impractical in multi-bedrooms when there's a toilet, toilet and shower in one room. So only one person can always use the sanitation. Thirdly, that was still going on, but with more guests, I was there in black. The W-Lan was always chaponing and only a small lack of money in the room. The staff offered me a lot of free food (while I didn't want to see a large bathroom and a big shower in the same room). So I'm sure it was a good idea to have a nice, clean room, and the windows were not too small, so I'm sure that we could see a nice, clean room and a nice, clean room.

Clean but small

Arriving in Kuah in the evening we preferred a comfortable, cheap hotel and not too far from the port. As for the location and convenience of commuting nothing to say: 10 minutes by taxi from the port, near various shopping centers and 10 minutes on foot from the Night Market. The same goes for the rather low prices (paid about 15 euros per room per night). Very nice also the reception girl who lent us the charger as well as we do not have the adapter. The negative sides are the rooms, small and uncomfortable, in our case occupied almost entirely by a bed with a portable, useless and dangerous structure (there is a risk of continuous knocking), with poor soundproofing (you can hear everything that comes from your side) and a bathroom (which is exactly above the toilet).

Great location, but tiny rooms.

We moved into a room with no windows! We moved into a room where there was no light in the bathroom. First they promised to fix everything the same day, then they moved us to another room. Second, breakfast is on, but at 11 there is no more cereal, milk and bread. Only half a can of jam. Third, the girl at the reception doesn't understand English very well. Four for 13 euros a night you can get along with everything.
