-whole room smelt old and mouldy
-uncomfortable beds and furnishing
-kinda spooky: doors would lock by themselves and we had to call for help several times, powerpoints wouldn't work. Doors would open and slam themselves in the middle of the night unnaturally, as with water running from the tap sinks. 
-maybe good for Halloween or hantu hunting?

When I was young (20 plus year ago), me and my friends always go Genting so we used to stay in apartment ria and do some dinner steamboat...is fun.. at that time the outlook ria apartment still do not  look that eerie but still is haunted.. but if go with a group of people then you will feel safe a little.. but now whenever I go Genting.. I sure will take a look at this apartment ria by the roadside to refresh back my happy steamboat memory.. and now the ria apartment outlook so difference.. so old, rusty, moldy and look like an abandon building. So within these 20 years they(apartment ria person in charge) did not want to repaint the building or not going to maintain the building well so we don’t expect they will maintain it in future. And I don’t know whether people who book and stay in this apartment ria notice or not there sure have a few big moths inside the apartment(either at toilet, room window, or kitchen wall). How they(moths) flew in?

Nothing can be done

Ria Apartment is located a little downside from Genting Highlands SkyAvenue and First World Plaza. The elevator needs to be upgrade because we can't see the floor display. For the rooms, just OK. With down hill view. The TV don't have satellite or digital TV (only analog TV). No gas stove if you wish to cook before going out somewhere in Genting Highland. 
To get to popular place in Genting Highland need to walk about 500 metres from the apartments. 
Room is very expensive (about RM370/night) compared to my recent visit (about range RM225-RM275/night in the past during holidays).

We booked from three nights and requested not to disturb.
The housekeeping staff called us the second day and asked if we need they to do the housekeeping. 
I really appreciate their hard work to ensure the guests stay in a comfortable environment.

Nice room service 

The maintenance of the appearance of the hotel is bad. The staircase is so dirty and creepy as though it could be part of a horror scene. The lift is so slow and one wasn't even working.

Our room is nice but the kitchen is scary. The lights were dim orange and the swing door kept swinging coz of the wind. Some of the windows couldn't be closed. The room is clean but I have a problem with the toilet door. The door shows a drawing of a half naked woman... Lucky my father didn't tag along for this trip, it would be so awkward.

It is a very far walk to the indoor theme park. :( But at night near the police station, there is a burger ramly stall. CHEAP CHEAP!!! yay. 

There's also 24 hr covenience store at the ria apartment and a 24hr cafe. 

No wifi!

Creepy

Agreed with those reviewers that this place suppose to be "horror movies" background. If we have large group of friends or family gathering  , still may consider this apartment because of well equipped . Can enjoy steamboat or own cook food here . If large number of people staying in proper hotels will be expensive and no place for gathering . Therefore still alright if just for "camp" or "gathering ".
