Stayed here for about 3 weeks, without any bother or incidence. I don't know why it has got such low reviews as for me it was a pretty good place to stay.

Perfect location, within walking distance of the city and to a lot of good bars and restaurants, very friendly and helpful staff, and the room was more than comfortable. The bed was very comfy and smelt lovely. The en-suite bathroom and shower were good, the shower hot immediately when turned on....
The wifi was a bit shaky but as someone who works online, I managed to do my work....

Overall, very much recommended for a stay in Vientiane. So close to the town and also very affordable. If I am back, I'm checking in here again.

The male staff member who checked me in and out didn’t say a single word to me on either occasion. I can understand if he can’t speak English, but I said hello and thank you in Lao and he didn’t say anything back, no smile, nothing. The WiFi wasn’t available to me the first night and when fixed it was still slow. The room was cheap so I wasn’t expecting a lot, but room was average. Was clean except the bin hadn’t been emptied and still had food package etc from previous guest. Pretty good location, walkable to restaurants etc.

I booked one room but they gave me two - nice as we were a family of four. However one of the rooms were facing the street - a very busy street. There was a window facing the street with no glass = the room was super noise. The receptionist was not very welcoming basically just laying on the couch watching TV which was weird but it didn't affect  us much. The other room we got was OK with a minimum of noise. Clean rooms and ok for a night or two but the noise was unbearable and I would NEVER stay in that room again.

There's no windows, the room is large and clean, the bed is comfortable, the location is normal. It's perfect for overnight stays and throwing things away. The cleaning is adequate. The wifi is normal. The sound insulation is fine.

the staff at Sengdara hotel were very helpful, i was having some problems with the atm machines in Laos, i gave them a holding deposit in baht and once i sorted the problem out paid with the local kip, all was good and my thai baht returned. the rooms are a very good size, its close to the river markets and other attractions.

Rooms are spacious and confortables. Good wifi, near of main attractions. Staff doesn’t speak english but they try to understand and help. The room next tonthe street arr very noisy for the traffic but i didn’t care

Perfect for 3 nights

About 0400 on the second night I awoke up to find a man in the room. I leaped out of bed and gave chase but the man was gone - along with my phone, my tablet and some cash. The room had been locked so, I guess, the robber must have had a key.Please see my other reviews, I have travelled all over the place and all my reviews have been positive. I'm not making this one up!

This hotel is located in Suphanuvong Rd, Ban Sihom and not as advertised on Tripadvisor. The reception is inside a hairdresser. When I arrived there was no one to attend to, I walked around the entire hotel without finding anyone. I had to move to the nearby establishment. The employee could not speak any English. They do not provide any kind of help or information to customers. The room is quite old and has no window to close, only a damaged network. Very noisy. The place needs investment. Even for the price has much better alternatives. I do not recommend.
