This is not my 1st time staying here. It is close to everything. I like the fact that you can go to a night out or eat and just walk straight back to your hotel. The front desk is friendly and helpful. The bed is comfortable,clean, and big. The room is spacious but I'd wear slippers. The only main issue is the room has deteriorate quite a bit each time I visit. The drawer was leaning to one side. The bathroom space is ok and the bathroom door is stain and dirty. The little carpet needs to be thrown out and replace. It was black and dirty. Overall its a good budget hotel to stay close. This place is okay for a night or 2.

The rooms look so old but I decided  coz it was clean and accessible.
On my second day I woke up with one labor using hummer next to my room. It was 8am, I asked the reception and they asked him to stop. But after 30 mins he started again and I decided to wake up coz I can’t sleep anymore!

Location of the hotel is great. Service was really good. Overall good for what we wanted.

Happy with our stay

We were here with family and book 1 night. We would like to book a van back to Vang Vieng next day. At the reception has 1 beautiful lady; we asked many questions about the program and transfer. She totally unfriendly and tried to charge you more. You can book a van and program tour in other places, cheaper and good service. We walk only 3-4 minutes from here. So many choices, full information ,easy and flexible for every program as you need. The price cheaper too. 

Not recommended place. the staff not helpful

The room smells bad, it's dark, it's dirty, it's very wet, and the sink keeps splashing.

The bed isn't bad, the room is clean, but the bathroom is terrible, stinky! the water doesn't heat up at all! In the bedroom, you can't sleep at night, chickens and chickens make a lot of noise and when the sun comes up, the room is extremely clear!

It's okay, one night, central staff is good, the bedding is clean, there was soap and water in the room, everyone helped lift the suitcases to the room, but for that price, okay, I don 't know what else to write, okay, the rooms are small, old.

The price is normal, so there's a lot you can ignore.

We stayed for 2 nights and decided to stupidly extend our stay as our friends were staying there. I've never felt more uncomfortable checking into a hotel. I felt like I was in someone's house, completely unwelcoming. You would say hello to them and the women would just scowl and give you horrific looks. We had to move rooms, as there were constant building works going on and a rooster coop outside our window which was fine, I found that to be an easy issue solved. The rules on the walls are like something that has been drawn up from prison. Talking about being taken to the police if rules are broken, and put in front of a judge. It also speaks about prohibition, no alcohol in the hotel under any circumstances. No gambling, or loud noise past 10.30 which is fine, expect for the staff playing their music so loudly from reception at 6am that I was woken by it. 

But besides all of that, this is my biggest issue with the hotel. 

Someone at some point during my last day, be it whilst I visited the waterfalls, or whilst I was out at the Irish bar in the evening... went into my room, routed through my bags, found hidden cash, approximately 300 pounds. And took it. Left a 200 pound iPad and a 200 pound go pro, but just stole cash. When I rang and tried to sort it out, I had nothing but denial from the owner. Constantly being defensive and rude. No apology. 

I felt the need to share this experience to warn fellow travellers of this place. I was lucky, bank cards and other valuables didn't get stolen, some others may not be so lucky.

Steer clear.

Thieves still operate here...

We had an ok stay for 2 nights. We slept well because we were just arriving after 20h of travel ! The staff seems super annoyed when you talk to them ...so we did not ask much from them. The room was not super clean, especially the bathroom. The room itself smells a bit moisture ! 
There is potential but some stuffs need to be improved
