Hotel but especially trekking organization in the nearby ethnic villages. Guides are very attentive and very professional. This is a real plus! The hotel itself is right and could be good with a little maintenance work. The service is very good, the owner is very attentive. Special mention for pancakes for breakfast.

Good hotel but not only

I had a wonderful stay at this charming place! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed with open arms by the friendly and welcoming family that runs the place.

The rooms are a delight – spacious, cozy, and adorned with a blend of bamboo hut style and modern comforts. The bed was big and very comfortable.

It has a lovely balcony attached to my room. It became my go-to place for unwinding and soaking in the serene surroundings. The attention to detail in creating a space that combines local authenticity with comfort truly impressed me.

And the wifi was surprisingly excellent! Even in this tranquil setting, I was able to stay connected without any hitches. I struggled in Laos to find acceptable WiFi in the places I stayed before.

The true heart of this experience, however, was the food. The delicious local cuisine served here is very good. Sharing meals with the family felt like a beautiful cultural exchange.

What made this stay truly special was the warmth of the staff and the family running the bungalow. Their genuine hospitality made me feel like more than just a guest – I felt like a part of their extended family.

There were some minor drawbacks, which didn't bother much. The bathroom could have been bit nicer and there is a Karaoke place a bit further away which you can hear sometimes in the night. They are not playing music beyond a 11 pm in my experience and it didn't bother me a lot. I stayed much longer than I initially planned as I liked the place a lot.

If you're looking for a unique getaway that blends comfort, authenticity, and a welcoming atmosphere, this place is a great choice.

We had such a good time here.

The bungalows are simple but absolutely clean & well taken care. Quiet location. 

They also organize excellent excursions with perfect English speaking guide. Recommended: Trekking to Namha National Park with Mr. Xai by Noy.

Cozy, lovely & excellent value.

I'm very sorry to write this review, but then again this structure is unqualifiable, the rooms are unheard of dirt, I still found in the bathroom the excrement of previous customers, dirty sheets, ripped pillows broken glass, really unacceptable! Besides the garden surrounding the room was an open-air garbage can everywhere! Too bad because the place would be nice too! Give yourself a setup because that's not how it goes!

I'm sorry, but unqualified!

The positive: Guesthouse well located 500 meters from the center of Luang namtha; Good bed; The kindness of the manager who wants to please; Breakfast: very good; Bungalow: typical, large room, unpalatable; The trekking agency in the guesthouse. Reasonable price. The least: Unfortunately it is large: THE BRUT. Restaurant Karaoke (on the other side of the wall of the enclosure) that take you at the end of the night.... The managers can't do anything about it unfortunately and it's a shame for them.

Guesthouse with potential but... too much noise!

The complex consists of several double bungalows with plenty of space, a terrace and a porch. A large and a small swimming pool, restaurant and playground, as well as a beautiful garden area round the picture. The somewhat lively centre of the place with restaurants, shopping, tour operators is a five-minute walk away. Manager Noy speaks very good English and is extremely helpful. Booking tours, organizing excursions, transportation, laundry everything is done by her. A glimpse of our trip through Laos.

A bungalow for comfort and a lovely hostess

(+):Good lunch, supportive staff, large room with balcony (we had the no.1) comfortable bed. The internet works very well. The site organizes treks in nearby villages but does not sell under pressure...whether you buy them or not, you will have excellent service. (-) Cleanliness and maintenance of the site is desirable, we felt that the site was abandoned during the covid. The site and bungalows have a lot of potential but will need a lot of love and elbow oil to be upgraded.

A lot of potential, but...

Clean place, good breakfast, the owner is working really hard to make everyone feel comfortable. She helped us book train tickets (which is no easy task in Laos) and she kept our luggage stored while we were jungle trekking. Very nice stay.

Nice place. The room was clean and the water was comfortably lukewarm.

Kind of waking up after the covid pandemic not everything is right in place again, but a very lovely retreat in town.
Nice, big bungalows, great breakfast place.

The incredible nice, helpful and caring owner Noi - she is really exceptional!
