This small hotel, almost a two-star hotel, is located a few steps from the main street of the city that goes straight to the sea. The small, basic rooms, are provided with air conditioning and private bathroom. The room was moderately clean and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is definitely essential.

Before the dive

I only use the bar and restaurant facilities because I was staying in a nearby hotel where the service was very poor.
The team at al marsa is very friendly. Hamza (the waiter) is always smiling and positive. The food is good, the drink as well, same for the shisha. Cheap price !

Good Bar/Restaurant review

Waiters don't speak any other language than Arabic. Ridiculous portions (we ordered fried squid rings and we got 4 wet squid rings with a bed of peppers). Scandalous!

Too bad to be true

My friend and I stumbled across this gem by chance when looking for a place to stay on the beach. Lovely comfortable and spacious rooms with AC. Access to a big pool and a delicious complimentary breakfast and all for a surprisingly small price ( we are travellers and on a budget). The service was excellent and we felt very welcome and at home. Some great deals for anyone that wants to dive or snorkel. I would highly recommend this place - thank you Al Marsa!

A great modest hotel offering great diving deals and comfortable rooms

We had an excellent stay at the hotel The boss is adorable and helped us well after all our day's galleries The proximity to the beach and the pool is ideal! The bed is very good compared to other places where we stayed. This is a very good quality price for the city I highly recommend it

It's a great stay.

We went to eat and after waiting for an hour the dish of squid: six pieces of squid occupying the entire dish, the chicken: 4 strips of dissected chicken... MUCH LITTLE FOOD.

Terrible food, no recommended.

It's a very basic and antique hotel, designed for Jordanians, not Westerners, the bed is very comfortable and spacious, but we found the dirty towels, it's well located. I use it just to wait for a flight, I wouldn't have any more time! No hot water. Wifi very well. No pool has something terrible in aqaba in summer with 45 degrees. Staff well.

The basics are basic.

We can only join the good reviews: spacious rooms, good beds, clean towels and bedding, surprisingly good breakfast buffet, very central location, nice environment, service OK. What more can you expect from a cheap hotel?

Price performance very good

We stay at this hotel for 1 night on October14,2017 on the way back from South beach in Aqaba. This hotel room is very good, bed is big and very comfortable. Shower pressure in the bath room is the best one among hotels where we stay in Jordan( Beduin Garden Hotel in South beach is the worst).Location is very good and easy to find food to have. It is nearby JET BUS station. Breakfast is very very good when we talk about budget hotel. People is very friendly.

Good location worth for money

We were staying next door at another hotel and came here for a few meals. The service was good, the sea view was great, and the food tasty. The mixed grill was very good. We recommend this place if in South Beach.
