The location is perfect and you can be on the Koussai Street in just 3 minutes by walking. Unfortunately the bathroom is not clean and there is smoking area in the corridor. 

The Kumoji so Hostel is a ideal place to sleep if you are travelling all the day.
The price and performance is ok. The owner Sean is a very friendliy person and therefore we give him an extra point.

Familiy Trip

Second time staying here and once again great location, great value for the cheap room rate, and great helpful staff. Would come back and stay again anytime.

Nice location and same as description, nice host with clear introduction

Booked 2 nights... stayed 1, which tells you all you need to know.

The whole hostel is one large floor broken up into “rooms” by a series of walls (many without doors).

Ventilation is next non-existent, which is made worse by the “smoking area” which is a bench by the lift which you have to pass every time you want to take the lift or is the one toilet.
The night we stayed there were two locals talking and smoking on the bench all night.

Plugs by my bed kept coming loose, which meant my fan (which I needed given the lack of ventilation) kept turning off.

Seem to be a few locals living there and the place is rather dark and grey.

When left in the morning I stood in sick in the lift.

Only positive is the manager was friendly and it’s close to a monorail stop but I would but recommend you stay here.
We didn’t stay our second night and booked an air bnb.

Good price but it is a hostel that guest should expect too much. Location is good, just 3-5minutes from monorail station.

If you’re looking for a few nights of stay in Naha, this hostel is super cheap. But on hot summer months, ventilation/weak airconditioning might be bothersome. For backpackers on a budget, this is a nice place that can fit on your budget. Plus point - it’s walking distance from Kokusaidori. Just be aware that there might be some taiwanese chicks lurking around (but they’re fun to talk to).

I selected a dorm cabin - bigger than a capsule at the normal Japanese capsule hotels, just enough space and well worth the price paid. The bed was outstanding and the location i excellent. highly recommended for  cheap, comfy and very basic stay.

great value for the money

Cozy and nice place, walk to monorail or International Road both convenient.Single room really like my room in my country, from floor to pillow all simliar, really like my another room, but in Okinawa.Dorm is wide compared I have stayed before, stay inside it helped me thinking about hiding in my old home's japanese style    closet playing hide and seek.Environment is clean, public area is nice, even it has disadvantages in other guests' eyes, but for me, its advantages over those, so I don't care and enjoy living here. But if you are hard to sleep or sound sense, suggest you using earplugs strongly.See you next time, Kumoji.

Cozy place

Given the low price, I could not expect too much. My overall experience is fine.  My room was muggy. Since I had previously read complaints about paying for air-conditioning and I clarified with Sean who is helpful, I was not caught in a surprise.My major concern is about security of the female toilet (adjacent to the elevator) without an external lock. However, if we shut the door from inside, then all the other female guests cannot enter.  Suggest to install an electronic lock outside the door.
