We were greeted with a welcome drink and snack before checking in, enjoying splendid views of the sea from the lobby seating area. You get to choose your own Yukata then head upstairs. VIP rooms are on the 10th floor and larger. The common onsen for guests is segregated by gender but both have open air bath and an indoor one. The food is such a spread and fantastic. I was served abalone in sake on my first night here with the rest of the spread which was a highlight. This is a good base to tour the rest of kawazu and the waterfalls from
