We used Booking.com, but the apartment at Turtle Beach Towers was listed by Burbank Vacations. The description of the apartment in our confirmation email is NOT what we were given ... and the service was awful. None of the information was correct, so we attempted to contact Burbank Vacations - who listed the place on Booking- and the property owner while we were in Ocho Rios ... nobody at either ‘business’ responded to us, so we chose to leave early since the place was terrible and nobody could be bothered to help us.

The pool is EMPTY (under construction) ... we were not told before our stay. The unit had only one bedroom and a shower (no bath). There was a fridge, but unplugged when we arrived - we had to throw away our groceries (didn’t get cold until the next day). No dishwasher. No barbecue. A small balcony that isn't a terrace. No washing machine. There was ONE bed (not three) and the headboard was unattached - bonked us when we needed to access the outlet! There were two garbage pillows. The smoke alarm was sitting on a table.

We wanted someone to help us to move to the apartment that we booked. At the very least, we expected the property owner or Burbank Vacations to listen to our concerns with respect. Nobody at all was responsive or helpful. Any reasonable human would expect to be compensated for getting the wrong apartment. Once we were back home, and after many attempts to reach someone, we got the runaround (call this person, this person is away, call back tomorrow). Then, the useless team at Burbank Vacations kept telling us to speak to a manager that was never available. Once we spoke to him (Dave Thomas), he told us that he couldn't help and we had to talk to the property owner. Once we reached her (Sade), she was incredibly rude and unwilling to listen! She actually yelled at us. We are unsatisfied with the host, Burbank Vacations, and Booking for not confirming that customers get what they pay for!

Be wary of Turtle Beach Towers and Burbank Vacations!

Mgmt is the worst I have ever seen.
The place is a mess. The pool to be closed again tomorrow.  For no reason.  The customer service is poor.  The security is poor.
Do not. I will repeat.  Do not waste your money. Spend $30 more and stay at a resort.
During one of the toughest times in most peoples life.  These sad excuse for caretakers close the only thing available for comfort.

Hallways, Elevators need painting and upgrading 
Grounds are beautiful where there is grass but sidewalks need pressure washing
Deffinately need new garbage compounds! 
Pool needs to be drained and repainted 
Better maintenance needed overall!
No Flowers at some apt entrances- very messy!
Close to the beach and electronic gate with electronic entrance to apartments
Lot of time entrance door to apt blocks are open

I made reservation for this Hotel 🏨 was highly disappointed. I arrived and no unit w/ keys was place in my name. I made several calls to resolve issues I was never place into s 2bedroom unit apt that I pay for. Each room I was place in was disgusting and dirty with safety issues. This is definitely one place I will never stay at again. 410c😞😞😞😲11a

Worse experience i have had at block 3  door 33C third floor Turtle Tower dirty apartment dirty kitchen with ants washing power to wash dishes cooker nasty no bucket for mop no broom, stains in toilets and bath, iron broad broken, manager was rude . had to use my bath towels to put on the bed, out dated  furniture old and nasty

There are so many plus and minuses to this apartment complex.  Ocho Rios has the most attractions in Jamaica so it’s definitely the place to stay. 
It really depends on what type of holiday you are looking for.  
If you decide to stay here you should hire a car.  Avis is walking distance on Milford Rd. We hired a car for 2 days at $174 usd then we went around the corner to get a Jamaican SIM card so we could use Google Maps to get around.  
The apartments have a full kitchen, en-suite and airconditioning and there is pool and beach access with a pass from reception.   The building is a bit old but everything works.  
There is as big supermarket where we bought the SIM card from at Digicel. So we bought groceries and made our own breakfast and some lunch / or dinners at the apartment.  
The restaurants near buy are suited for Dinner and one close buy advertised breakfast but we didn’t eat there.  

Turtle Beach towers is walking distance to the beach, 45min walk to Dunn’s River and Dolphin Cove. 
Markets, Restaurants, Scotia Banks which is a DUAL currency so you can withdraw USD if you need, are all close walking distance too. 
If you stay here you should have a car and you can just show up to the location of whatever attraction you want to do without pre booking a tour.  In most cases you will save money, but you will still be spending a lot.  It’s a once in a lifetime experience for us all the way from Australia.  But we probably spent $1000USD cash in 3 Days.  
All Jamaicans accept USD and will give USD change too. 


Super Great Location 

This place was well tidy and comfortable as expected. Our host was really nice. I like the fact that it was closeby to all the best restaurants and tourist attractions.Very Good location and very secured.

got a place here on the 8th floor air band b room was awesome had great view but building looks like something outta the show good times door in main entrance don't lock elevator broke down couple times just run down the grounds aren't well kept..pool is nice awesome location right on beach

This is the perfect location to enjoy so much in Ocho Rios Jamaica. There are so many things within walking distance that will ensure your trip is great. We walked to the club, to many restaurants, did shopping in the craft market, got ice cream and authentic Jamaican food. The cambio for money exchange was literally across the street. We had out our pool and beach access. It was amazing.

Turtle Beach Towers are made up of many studio's rooms an suite owned by various so some units will be very modern and some not as nice.  However the towers are probably best for location than almost any other place.  Not only are you in walking distance of beach areas but you are also within 2 - 3 min walking distance of clubs, shopping and restuarants.  I rented a car however it was totally not needed and I only did so because it was my first time at the towers.  
I have stayed at some more expensive places that were further out and had a more modern look but my vacation was not about staying at a hotel or a resort.  I love to be able to go out to a comfortable distance without getting lost,  You will see the towers no matter which way you walk within 15 to 20 mins. 
Also since there are many different prices you can negotiate a better price than you may find online. This all makes Turtle Beach towers my best choice for a vacation getaway.
