Our room was very spacious and comfortable. The room decor was very interesting; not sure which era it was from but was definitely very Venetian! To be honest, we didn't spend much time at the hotel as our days were spent in Venice. Nonetheless, it was a pleasant base to return to every night. We took the water taxi daily to Venice, which was very enjoyable. A similar hotel in Venice itself would cost so much more. Buffet breakfast at the hotel was very expensive but note that there is a quaint bakery just around the corner that has everything you need. There was also a very well stocked small grocery store nearby, so you have lots of options just minutes away. Lido di Venezia is very nice and we are glad that we didn't go with accommodations in Mestre, as Lido di Venezia with the water taxi rides and its quaintness makes the Venetian experience complete.

No complaints whatsoever

We found this hotel to be a quiet retreat after busy days in Venice. The staff was friendly. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. There were lots of options for breakfast. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Quiet retreat after a busy day in Venice.

This was a lovely quaint hotel just a block or two from the ferry to take you to the main island of Venice.   Lido is very quiet and for me was a nice break after spending a day touring Venice, which can get quite crowded.   I love the Victorian furnishings, and the terrace where you can grab a cocktail after a long day before grabbing dinner on the main fair in Lido.  

Breakfast was  a little dull, with some stale rolls, although they did offer some other things, it was not the best spread that I have seen in Europe.  All in all, a quiet place after a busy day in Venice.

Lovely,  quaint and fairly simple, but Toto you are definitely not in Kansas any longer!

-Far away from everything,. You will spend money and time to get to venice. Public boat transportation are crowded and expensive
- Forget the breackfast.It's horrible
