We were put up here after ITA Airways canceled out flight and we missed our connecting flight. One of the most vile, disgusting places we have ever been. An abandoned property in disrepair with no staff, amenities, food or decent utilities we paid cash for a "taxi" to take us back to the airport rather than stay in this run down, gross vile mess of what should be a condemned property. Beware if you stay here or fly ITA Airways. One of the worst travel experiences we have ever had in our global endeavors.

Disgusting

It all started with the check in experience. Although the hotel was empty it took forever to give us the room’s key.
The place is outdated. It made us feel
Like in the 70s. Lots of flies all over. In the lobby, in the room and in the what the call restaurant. 
Minibar was empty it took us 40 minutes to get a bottle of water. 
Dinner was very simple but the pasta was ok. Good location, close to the beach. The outside areas are dirty and not maintained.
WiFi doesn’t work. It connects but no traffic. Mentioned it to the reception and they were careless. 
In the room the ace was leaking water, the floor was all wet. Also mentioned to the reception and nothing was done. 
It was a horrible experience. Could not wait to leave. Will never come back.

Not a 4 star, more likely a 1 Start bus station pension.

Very close to the beach. A very basic hotel but the rooms are fine. I think more a 2* than a 4*.

The rooms have basic furnishings but are spacious and complete with every comfort. Good cleaning, excellent dining service and the staff is kind and attentive. The only drawback is the bathrooms, which should be renovated. Recommended overall if you don't have big demands.

This hotel was booked for us and had we known we would not have been there at all! Not only was it not convenient, but on arrival it was obvious that this hotel has been neglected as the plaster was coming off the outer walls. In fairness, quite a few places in the area were in a poor state of repair. Inside, it was clean but dated as if back in the 70s.  Shower was in a very bad condition and there wasn't even a hook to hold up the shower head. Only found 2 plugs in the room - one being used for the fridge and the other behind the single bed.  Air con unit was a bit noisy.. Breakfast was... Let's see, pitiful, to say the least and that is knowing what continental breakfasts are usually consistent of in Italy.  Toilet in lobby was right beside an open window which was just at the level of the WC so glad nobody outside at the time.. and we couldn't find any way to flush it.  Had no real interaction with staff except at reception on arrival and they were fine.  Very close to the local beach which was nice but otherwise it's a "NO" don't do it! 

Neglected 

Great location very close to the sea, 4 star hotel but worth 2....all too old both in the furnishings and as the structure the bathroom especially dish shower mini 30 years ago with the plastic windshield faucets the faucet is even older even the phone in the bathroom small balcony of the room that overlooks houses and degraded terrain... the air conditioner floor so always wet the floor appear all this personal kind

Four stars is worth two.

We have been in two-star hotels with much better services than this. These are the disadvantages that I also read from many other reviews (letters after staying) that are not recent so it is obvious that they have no intention of solving the problem: private air conditioning and slightly refreshing noise.

It's embarrassing.

The hotel is a 4 star hotel from the past, but it is now obsolete and completely refurbished and no longer deserves it. We enjoyed a room where the air conditioner could not be turned off because the remote control did not work and we were turned off from the reception (so if I had to turn it on again I would ring back) and the outside cars placed on each balcony made a monstrous noise for the whole night. It was now obsolete and completely refurbished. The balcony had an appropriate grille that separated from a side tent from which it also rotated our wet terrace making it unusable to access the old plastic seats and a little unusable toilet seat.

This is unacceptable.

It's close to the sea, with a dedicated beach, simple and intimate. Always available and very friendly at all times. A good restaurant, staffed and friendly. The prices are consistent with the offer. If you're looking for a stay for your holiday in Tarquinia Helios it's a great idea.

Good experience

Hotel to be renovated. Built 30 years ago. The room was warm with air conditioning off and still not functioning. Bad service: ilgrigo bar is empty you have to fill it by buying from the bar in reception. Good location. Useful x vintage lovers....
