Easy transfer, with Tui, took an instant like to the place and the resort itself.

The apartment was large, nothing fancy, but clean and bright....... the bed was large and very firm (which we like )

Kitchen had a fridge and small freezer, oven and hob.

It's situated behind 3 streets off the main road behind various apartments occupied by local people, so no sea view, but quiet with no traffic noise, which you would get on the seafront.

The aircon is excellent, as even in October our week was pretty hot.

It's a little hidden away, but there's an excellent Netto a few streets nearer the centre.... plenty of choice including a counter where they will cut chops, steaks etc to order, we had several lovely, and cheap meals in our apartment.

It's easy to get around on the ferries or buses to the different villages, and the road towards Salerno is exceptionally beautiful.

Amalfi is a short distance away, then Positano, but they're way to busy for us, Maiori is very low key, still very pretty, and best of all, it's a town full of Italian people, going about their business, much more interesting than the tourist towns where the visitors vastly outnumber the locals.

We've done all the trips in the area, all we wanted was a quiet relaxing holiday and this place is perfect.

The team who run the apartment are close by, very friendly and helpful, we called in several times just to chat.

Lovely place, stayed 15th October for 1 week.

We had stayed at the Santa Tecla apartments a couple of years ago when they had been under the care of the Panorama hotel (now sadly closed) The apartments now rechristened The Angelina Residence, haven't changed a great deal over the years, they are spacious and well maintained, furnished in a reasonable, if somewhat basic manner,with a good size refrigerator and icebox a gas cooking hob, plenty of crockery and cutlery,  comfortable double bed and sofa bed (we had a one bed a unit)  positioned a couple of blocks back from the seafront with no views to speak of except over the hotel pool which appears to be well maintained (we didn't try it out) all the balconies overlook the pool which is pleasant but can be a bit noisy. we personally found the lack of view a bonus, as it made us get up and out early each day, we usually had breakfast at one of the many little beach bars dotted along the promenaded. We arranged our holiday through TUI who encouraged us to get a private taxi through them, to travel to the resort, the benefit being that we would arrive in the resort much earlier than travelling on the 'free' coach, this part was true and the actually journey along the Amalfi coast road really added to the excitement of being back in that part of Italy again, so all in all it was to us worth the extra cost, where the whole arrangement fell down was, that once we arrived, there was nobody on reception at the apartments, and no instructions as to how we could check in, so we stood around feeling totally lost, luckily for us a very kind German tourist who was staying at the apartments pointed us in the direction of the checking-in office, which as it turned out was some 2 blocks away, we struggled there with our heavy suitcases, then found the TUI reps hadn't advised the receptionists of any early arrivals, I have to say the young Italian receptionists were so pleasant and helpful, they juggled  things around until they found us an apartment that had been cleaned and was ready to be occupied, but this all took time, so the advantage of paying extra to arrive early in a  taxi was beginning to be lost!! It was a stress we didn't need having been up at 3am for the flight to Naples. We were never given the promised 'pack' from the TUI rep who we had to seek out midweek to check arrangements for our return  taxi back to the airport, she didn't seem to be aware of any taxi, but to be fair did sort it out in the end, unfortunately nobody told the taxi driver that the TUI flight check in desks were in another building entirely,so he dropped us at the main terminal, where we had another stressful few minutes trying to find somebody tell us where the TUI check in desks were, needless to say there were no TUI reps on hand to help. To sum up, the resort of Maiori is lovely, and perfect for so many trips around this wonderful coast line, local Buses are plentiful and cheap to use, you can bus up to wonderful places like Ravello and Scala, then walk down the many steps through the Lemon groves to Amalfi or Minori.  Once we overcame the initial checking in problems, we went on to have a brilliant holiday, but we were disappointed in the lack of help or advice available from the TUI rep

We stayed here for a week with teenage son. We only took a studio apartment, but there was plenty of room even with the fold out sofa bed. The kitchen is very well equipped - probably the best kitchen we have ever had in a self-catering apartment. The apartments were clean, tidy and appeared well maintained. Towels & bedding were changed once in the week which is fine by us. The only negative was the strict swimming pool rules, closed at 6pm and you must wear a swimming cap (available to buy at 1.5euro).  Maoiri is a lovely town busy with tourists and locals alike. The beach is easy to reach although a bit crowded and the sunbeds are very expensive - 25 euros per set (we usually pay 10-15 in Greek Islands). El Dorado restaurant was our favourite. 
We did  the trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius the weather was very hot that day but that did not spoil our enjoyment - you are only an hour from this history so you must go.

Renamed as Angelina Residence

We stayed here for 1 week for my husbands 30th. The apartments are in a great location and had all the amenities you needed and were nice and clean.
Only downside was the pool which wasnt heated so was always freezing. You also cant swim in the pool without a swim cap on but these can be bought from the hotel. 
If we returned to Maiori, we wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Holiday to Maiori

The room was spacious, lovely big balcony, we had two rooms as the teenagers had their own room, but we came together to eat on the balcony overlooking the pool.  The rooms were clean and bright, no bath, just a large shower, but had a well equipped kitchen.  The hairdryer was a bit slow but at least there was one.  The location was really excellent, just a couple of blocks back from the seafront and all of the bars and very many restaurants.  We usually go all inclusive on holiday, but this was so much better as gave us the flexibility to eat wherever you would like to.  Food was not expensive, and all the restaurants we went to were really good and friendly.  
Our TUI rep Angela was the best we have ever had, she was very knowledgable and always there if you needed her.  The resort town was pretty, lively but not a 'clubbing' venue, so there were families there and no big crowds of teenagers. The location of the town meant a ride on an air conditioned bus driven by an expert driver on the narrow windy roads right on the edge of the cliff face, which was an experience in itself.
We did the trip to Pompeii and Vesuvius, the volcano was a hard climb and decent and the actual top was a little dull as no lava, just a few wisps of smoke. But all in all its two off the bucket list!
We did take the mini ferry off to Amalfi for the day and back again, that was a good cheap and cheerful trip and the shops over there were very interesting.  We would love to go back.

Now called Angelina Residence - very good

Centrally located close to the beach.  Pool adequate but not entirely child friendly, swimming caps are a requirement.

Apartment huge, decent kitchen.  Cleaned only once in a week long stay (including changing towels) and only one loo roll supplied.  Close to a sports facility that likes to use fireworks, which are loud.  Beds aren't of the best quality.
