Yesterday I called and confirmed the menu not only fish I booked dinner for 3 people We are welcome to stay, but unfortunately the evening turned out to be a disaster, rabbit only pieces of scrap, top two miserable slices, outline boiled vegetables, cooks to the marinera nothing of that, mediocre appetizer Sorry I remembered The Jewel frequented in the past, of a whole different level!!

Disappointment!

We stayed a few days in this property where we had been away for a few years and which we remembered excellent in all respects. As for the stay, there is nothing to say and the availability and kindness are always appreciated, especially these days, the family drive always pays off! Super breakfast, everything at km 0 and always fresh and homemade preparations! Comfortable and air conditioned rooms. Good also the restaurant having dined one evening, undisputed quality but price a little above expectations. We'll come back...

Staying and sight amazing!!!

I'm a tourist, but not everyone's a passenger, like burning a customer, I'm sure I won't come back.

What a disappointment!

Following the instructions of the Slow Food Osterie Guide we dined at the Gioiosa and we understood why it is called La Gioiosa. Wonderful position above the Gulf of Varigotti, full moon and beautiful pergola. Very simple menu, but based on dishes of the Ligurian tradition and quality and absolutely local ingredients.

Dinner with friends

Second experience in the hotel from 2021, 5 nights, stay of great satisfaction: large, clean, fresh, bright room, large balcony with exceptional sea view; abundant breakfast with high quality products. Excellent service, friendly owners, available and friendly. Also tried the restaurant, ate fresh fish, cooked with very appetizing homemade recipes. The three stars do not fully express the potential of the structure, worthy of a much higher judgment.

Accommodation in Finale Ligure

Once it was enough to ask for the price of what was ordered off the menu to avoid surprises like 15 euros for two vegetables in the garden or 10 euros for four seasonal fruits. At the time, however, you ate well and the panorama was fine. Now, instead, the panorama remained, there is the habit of adding to making unconsumed dishes and overpaying dishes off the menu: the box is family, like the habits. In return, however, the quality of the food has deteriorated and little discrete has been served in minimal quantities.

More and more disappointing!

A little late but necessary review, especially in terms of driving. A lovely location, and a restaurant I've been to for a long time, and now, in addition to a substantial price increase in front of dishes significantly cheaper than two or three years ago (especially as an unexpected quantity compared to a time...).

Some doubts

I honestly agree with the latest written reviews. Prices are exorbitant relative to the menu, the quality and quantity of food. I think they should be reduced because they risk losing a lot of customers.

Triple price

Great location with spectacular terrace overlooking Varigotti. This is all the positive we bring home after dinner. Salad and unjustified account. Really price to the stars for a barely enough menu. Antipasto, second (banana bean with potatoes) sweet and wine 63 euros per head. We're definitely not going back.

That's too much.

Nice location, nice staff, nice terrace with a suggestive view of Varigotti. The problem is the quality/price ratio..we were in 8, we had a head-to-head dish and some snacks in common (too hot to eat a full lunch) 3 bottles of normal wine and a sweet, total 400 euros. It could also be there if the fish fry (according to other reviewers) wasn't bad but very scarce in quantity (4 totani rings and 2 shrimps) the spaghetti at the arsenal didn't reach 50 grams of pasta and wasn't noteworthy, taste of spinach in the norm and crosted the day before.
