We highly recommend this elegant and comfortable b&b, clean and quiet, the owner is very kind, polite and friendly. Everything here is really beautiful and special, the rooms, the living area, the breakfast, the terrace overlooking Etna. Also convenient to reach the city center even on foot. The b&b is located in a quiet area.

A real living room.

The living room was fantastic! Catania is a beautiful city and the B&B is strategically located to shoot! Breakfast is delicious and the hostess is attentive and professional in receiving guests! I recommend it and I will definitely be back!

That's a lovely living room.

We searched the internet of B&Bs where to spend the New Year's weekend and immediately there was a jump to the B&B Al Salotto. We were greeted in an exquisite way by both the hostess and Mrs. Adelaide who immediately made us feel comfortable. The beautiful and very large room with the private bathroom all super clean and orderly. Breakfast was even asked us when we wanted to make it and to wait for us in the morning there were really all sorts of specialties whether salty or sweet; the table fitted with care and with the style typical of the person who keeps the house and the services used were those of Thun (such products are often noted throughout the house because the owner of the house is a lover of the manufacture of the Thun and the details are very much there).

Hospitality, Kindness, and Comfort

I only stayed here one night. It's a great location, because it allows you to get to the center in a few minutes. As for the structure, it's basically a residential house and used for b&b, even though the prices are like a hotel. I bathe outside the room, not very comfortable. Cold room, there was no blanket. Very clean.

In the average

Arrived from the airport using the Alibus getting off at Bellini park and walking straight upwards to the B&B. Lovely welcome and shown to our room. Our room was at the front of the building and we had the sole use of the spacious balcony complete with lots of lovely plants and table and chairs. The room was a great size with the essential aircon. Our bathroom was separate and located just across from our room with plenty of towels. The staff at the B&B were excellent and gave us invaluable advice on where to go and what we could see with maps and timetables to help us plan our stay.
Breakfast was excellent with a selection of fresh fruit salad, yogurts,pastries and cereals. Hot italian coffee completed the meal and set us up for the day.
The location of the B&B is excellent. You can walk through the lovely shaded park to Via Etnea, the main street going down to the main piazza Duomo, lots of eating places around this area. 
Best eating place we found for authenticity and value was Del Barone which can be reached by turning left outside the B&B and then left again ,go to the end of the street, its on the right hand side. 2 Appetizers,2  prima piatti  and 1 secondi piatti, half a litre of vino rosso and water for around 34 Euros with excellent service.
All together a thoroughly lovely 3 day stay!

location location location!

Our plane arrived late and they waited for us until about 1 a.m. The two hosts we met couldn't have been nicer and more attentive. The perfect room. The breakfast with freshly made coffee as in your own mother's house. I came back without thinking about it.

It's simply perfect.

This is a very elegant guest house within 10 mins walking distance of city centre. 
Traditional in style ( the dining room is lovely ) with modern amenities such as free fast Wi-Fi. The room was clean and spacious with an outdoor table on the balcony with the added bonus of great views of Mt Etna plus TV & Fridge and large comfortable double bed. The breakfast is superb and the staff will go the extra mile to try and give you anything you need, be it favourite food, maps, transport timetables, books about the island etc.  - nothing was too much trouble! I was made to feel like family and this is probably the most enjoyable stay I've ever had. 10 out of 10 at least! :-)

A delightful B&B in a good central location with most wonderful helpful staff.

I stayed in the living room for only one night, but the hostess made me feel at home or at least welcome in a friend's house. Otherwise my room was very large as well as the bathroom, well heated, furnished with details and certainly good taste.

I think it's a very positive experience.

I stayed in this B&B by accident because what I had booked had a breakdown and so we were transferred here. What to say, it was flawless: I was warmly received by the owner, the room where I slept was quite large and clean. The only sin was the bathroom outside the room, but despite this everything was perfect. In the morning there was the possibility of having breakfast with a very good cake and Macedonian fruit prepared by the owner. The place where the B&B is located also allows you to walk to the center of Catania in a few minutes.

Very welcome.

Apartment clean, location good, gara its easy in and out, not too nearow like other place. Owner colected  lot nice picture, small antique porcelain, glass bells... I am feeling comfortable like at home, when can sit in soft sofa and  drink coffee all time in livingroom, walking with barfood on clean floor. Try to keep this standard.
