I have just returned from a 10-night stay at La Posada sul Golfo with my girlfriend and could not recommend it more highly. The room was great, clean, light and with fantastic views. The air con worked perfectly and the kitchenette was adequately stocked for all of our needs. Daniella is a great host, she welcomed us and took the time to highlight all of the restaurants/beaches/activities that she would recommend. She provided her WhatsApp and encouraged us to text her with any problems (there were none) or with any questions we had about Alghero. We stayed in the room that had the private terrace access and would highly recommend opting for the same. We had breakfast each morning on the terrace and would have a drink in the evening before heading out there too. In our experience, the terrace wasn't ever overly busy, and more often than not you'd have it to yourself, but having the dining table and chairs reserved for us was a real bonus. We will definitely return to Alghero, a wonderful city surrounded by incredible beaches (Mugoni & Lazaretto being our favourite) and we will undoubtedly stay at the Posada again when we do.
