Booked to stay in March last year and of course the pandemic hit, they let us re-book for August (not knowing how long it would all last) and since then NO communication. 
As soon as we said we can't travel and would like a refund it was like they didn't exist anymore. Impossible to get hold of, seems to be no one working... even picking up emails for over a year? Emailed and phoned countless times, nothing! 
Would have rebooked when allowed if they had at least bothered to reply and refunded us but will never even consider them again. 
Wish I could give them a 0 rating. 
Do not book and do yourself a favour!

Very poor or non existent communication between myself and guest services, to try and arrange a refund. They do not have any customer service!

I understand that everyone has struggled during the pandemic however waiting a year for a refund for a group of all NHS workers who were looking forward to this trip is appalling. What a way to treat the ones that have been working tirelessly over the last year, with financial loss.

Unfortunately due to Covid-19 City Apartments decided it was unsafe for us to stay and cancelled our booking. EVEN AFTER NUMEROUS EMAIL REQUESTS THEY HAVE NOT RESPONDED TO OUR REQUEST FOR A REFUND.

REFUND NOT RECEIVED

We were 3 people and we found ourselves with one bed. Even though we talked several times with the attention phone, it didn't give us a solution. First they deny the fact in itself, then they recognize it after insisting on the fifth call. But they don't give you a solution. If you book for three people and you have, among other things, a double bed, two spoons, two forks, two knives and two pots................ there is no doubt. Since the phone reception they followed me denying it. They are apartment blocks. Often young people come. There were parties and noises. On Saturdays until 5 a.m. There is no reception, you can do almost nothing except with noises, which is not an option in these cases. Apartments facing downtown are 25 minutes away.

Noisy and expensive. Very poor attention. Distant zone.

Booked this apartment for my family for its local proximity to the airport. Walked in and walked straight back out again. The photos on Expedia bear no resemblance to the disgusting, smelly, filthy and tiny apartment we were given the keys to. I have also not received a refund 2 weeks after cancelling. 
These photos should be removed from Expedia as they are false advertising

Absolutely sh##hole

Absolutely disgusted with the City Apartments, and the fact that it is listed on established websites such as Expedia. Not only is it unclean, my room key opened the front door of every other apartment in the building (as a master key). It is totally unsafe, and concerned for our safety, we had to leave immediately - looking, booking, and paying, for another independent hotel. The rooms look nothing like the pictures. Customer Service is a joke, after calling the number provided, we got a voicemail. It absolutely stunk of cigarettes and the fixtures and fittings were worn. To sum up - terrible. But more importantly, unsafe.

Unsafe. Abysmal. Would not put my dog in it.

We rented for 2 adults and a child and had to arrange a bed for ourselves, but when we called, the host showed no interest in solving it, answered after several calls and said that there was no possibility of adding another bed, it was expensive for what he offered that is little, never cleaned, never made the beds, a pity.

The worst is impossible.

It's a good location, although it's quite noisy for traffic. It's about a 15-minute walk from the city centre. It's a modern, cozy, clean apartment but not suitable for four people: very small bathroom and uncomfortable sofa bed.

Discreet.

The room wasn't the same as the one on the site and it wasn't suitable for 4 people... we called to ask for a change but we didn't get any support or assistance even though we had two kids.

Experience not to be repeated

The room is not the same of the photos on website, it is dirty and out of any rules of security if you have childrens you can see the photo in attach about it. I spoke immediately with the structure without support and any kind of assistance and solutions.
