Bunratty Grove Bed and Breakfast

I had been to Bunratty Grove before so it was a delight to return. The welcome that I received from Maura and Joe was warm and friendly. How lovely to be offered a pot of tea upon arrival, and to have it served with fresh scones. The bedroom and bathroom were spotless and comfortable. Ireland was being battered by storms. The windows of Bunratty Grove seem to be impervious to noise and movement and I slept soundly. Breakfast is made up of tasty local produce that is beautifully cooked and presented and so well served. On one day there was a burst water main in the lane and as result one well-meaning guest caused his room to flood. Joe and Maura worked valiantly to clean up and were co concerned that I could not sit in the lounge without the main light working that they provide me with table lamp, tea and fresh apple pie. They went beyond the call of duty despite their not being responsible for the chain of events that led to the water. Bunratty Grove is situated in a quiet lane handily placed for travel to Bunratty, Shannon, Limerick and Ennis. I have stayed all over Ireland and I have never experienced better hospitality in any other B&B. Bunratty Grove has it all!
