This is a fantastic little place in a rural area, Hosts were very friendly especially Helen, they couldn't do enough for us and treated us to a cooked breakfast every morning, stayed 3 nights, nothing was too much trouble, bedroom was very comfortable and spotless, very quiet for a good night's sleep, we did share a large bathroom with another room but was not an issue at all. As we had no car, had to get Taxis Into Newbridge and Kilcullen which were around 15 euro, the bus service was suspended while we were there, but heard it was restarting the day we left, however there is a fantastic pub 2 mins walk away, very busy for food on a Sunday, 17 euro for a quality dinner, and a well stocked shop over the road. Would highly recommend this gem of a b and b.

Quiet and Friendly 

Stayed here for the second year in a row and again better than a lot of hotels I stayed in around the country. The owners are wonderful people, friendly and very helpful, would highly recommend this B&B

All Ireland Ballroom Dancing Championship

Clean, quiet, close to good restaurant pub (really good food). Great ensuite, very good breakfast. Lovely back yard. Close to major roadway toward Dublin. Got lots of sheep pictures to draw in the coming months on the way there from the local racecourse.

Enjoyed very much

Stayed a few times in the last month and the rooms are spotless. Nice warm shower and hearty breakfast. You can have a fry up, eggs, porridge and typical cereal and fruit. Up stairs rooms are a good size. Downstairs my colleague room was across from the bathroom. Location is perfect with the Curragh nearby for walks and you are outside the greater Dublin area so it’s quieter. Parking is provided on site and a pub is just around the corner serving food till 9pm which was very tasty 

Helen and Willie are very welcoming 

This was a very good B and B, in close proximity to Dublin airport (40 min) if you don't want to pay the higher prices of a hotel close to the airport. There was a lovely full Irish breakfast included in the cost and the hostess and family were very nice.

The only reason I didn't give this a 5 is because the bathroom did not have a full, working bath, as was advertised.  For those who prefer a bath to a shower, make sure you ask ahead.

Clean, comfortable room and close to Dublin airport.

Stayed at this b&b for 2 nights. Couldn't have been any nicer, best b&b we've stayed in,better than some hotels. Breakfast was very nice and the owners very friendly and accommodating. Would very much recommend and will stay again.

All Ireland Ballroom Dancing Competition

My wife and I stayed the night at ATHGARVAN because it was close to Dublin for us to catch the ferry in the morning. Stay was EXCELLENT, the place very clean, and very good value for money. The breakfast was great and the service good.

FINAL OVERNIGHT CLOSE TO FERRY

We stayed here for one night. The room/all accommodation is very clean and furnished with a love of detail. The hosts are very friendly. We had a very tasty and self-cooked Irish breakfast. If we are nearby again, we will spend the night there again. Very nice!

A B&B to Make You Feel Good

Very tastefully decorated, spacious room in a very neat ambience. There was also a great breakfast. Ideal for a stop on the way to the south or to the fingers. Very much welcome back.

Recommended B&B, clean and quiet

Just like the title says: excellent!! (23 days in Ireland was one of the best) Owner's availability, cleaning, large solar room, quality breakfast, car park, facility in excellent condition, what more do you want?
