Loved Ubud so much.. 

Great time at this hostel. we arranged every day to do an activity. highlight was the Mt Batur sunrise hike 😍 and water falls which the hostel people were our personal guilds. cheaper than booking in town.

I had an awesome time at the hostel, great staff, comfy beds and the breakfast was great! banana pancakes with chocolate syrup or vege omelettes.
Cool little view of rice fields out the back from the pool. it's strange to see a few bad reviews as when i was there for 1 month I felt it was great value and so did everyone I met there in that time. maybe some people are a bit spoilt in life..

Any way 5 star from me 👍

We planned to stay for two nights at this hostel, and ended up there a week! We had a great time here. Its not a luxury hostel by any means, but that wasn't what we were looking for. You get what you pay for and more. The staff at Seven Sky's goes above and beyond making you feel like family. But watch out they will make you drink their "Holy Water" and you will probably wake up with a hangover.... (Arak, Balinese rice wine they generously shared)There is a great common area for everyone in the evenings since ubud isn't much of a party place, with a free pool table as well. Overall was a great stay. Thank you, Hope to see you all again.

This is the second time I've stayed at the hostel and I chose it again because of the friendly atmosphere and chilled out location. The first time it was newer and cleaner but you get what you pay for - it's cheap and cheerful. The free breakfast has a few great choices, all veggie friendly, much better than the usual toast and jam. You can book tours and trips for a good price from the front desk. There's a nice area to relax and socialise with a pool table and a beer and the surroundings are really beautiful. Would have stayed longer again if it weren't for the rain!

Cheap Ubud hostel/exploring

Great Staff, Great Hostel

Cool chilled out place 

This hostel was OK but pretty average. The doors don't lock and the shower/toilet doors don't close properly. Pretty dirty around the hostel. We never had breakfast there so I'm not sure what that was like, and wifi was on and off/only works in the lounge area. The pool area is nice and location is good. We thought it would be busier to meet other people but when we arrived it was pretty empty even in high season. Overall it was ok for a couple of cheap nights. Staff also accidentally took my friends quickdry towel and made her bed when she wasn't leaving which someone else took later, so make sure to mark your bed with a few things on it? 

Ok for a couple days 

I am a backpacker and really don´t expect much of a hostel but this hostel was horrible.. 
When we arrived there the staff welcomed us very friendly but as soon as we walked into the community place we were shocked! Everything was super dirty, seems that they didn´t clean for a couple of weeks- I wouldnt even want to drink a glass of water there..
The room was even worse. They didnt change the sheets, you could really see and smell it. There were bucks everywhere. 
In the bathroom the sink didnt work and the showers where super dirty as well!
The "Pool" was more a dirty green-brown water whole.
The stafff was really friendly though and also returned us the money when we decided to leave early. 
the last point is the distance, we read that it is only 0,9 km from the center but actually it is at least 4 km away... 

Dont go there!!
