The boys from Sari Buengalow treated us greatly, always smiling and very kind, and the place is a paradise, the rooms, the atmosphere and the pool are spectacular, very centered but away from the noise and with some lively breakfasts.

A magical place with very good deal.

Very friendly staff, delicious breakfast, delicious juices for less than $1, good swimming pool, but right in the sun, not in the shade during the day.

Staff were very helpful with everything including transport. Pool was clean and refreshing. Room was tidy and comfortable. Great location - walking distance to markets. Good spa up the road (not next door). Delicious filling breakfast and overall an excellent stay! 

Amazing all round!

The bungalow overlooking a rice paddy is beautiful. Very close to the center, on the street there are many restaurants and bars. The owners are very hospitable and friendly. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is adequate.

Bungalow in the city but on the rice paddies

We staying  for 1  night at sari bungalow ubud...it was amazing experience...with friendly owner and friendly staff welcoming us so Greatefull.exsplain me everything about ubud around there.it was amazing experience.nice food for breakfast,swimming pool with rice paddies views...nice room and bathroom with hot water.there is the cafe there with lovely food.we having nice dinner there.
This is nice strategic please to stay and we can around there by 10 minutes by work..

My lovely ubud trip cause sari bungalow

We stayed there for a week, it was great, the best accommodation of the whole trip. The staff is super nice, we feel at home. If I come back we will definitely go again. the great breakfast we tried everything and didn't know that we liked it better. The small but beautiful pool, even we lit it to bathe at night when we arrived, the great views, super quiet and has several shops nearby to buy and eat very good. The driver who picked us up at the airport is very handsome, we went on more than one occasion with him, and introduced us to his culture.

Very nice area, a few hundred metres off the main strip, easy walking distance to lots of nice restaurants/ships/market etc. Breakfast pancakes were the best we had in Indonesia and staff were polite. The swimming pool is a godsend...not too warm, not too cold... just right...great to relax with a large bintang! 

The breakfast service was good. 
If I could give a tip...when toilet roll runs out, replace it...don't make people ask for it.

Also...when you see somebody struggling with bags, and 2 men are watching...offer to help...your tips will increase.

Staff on checkout billed us incorrect...genuine mistake I assume...as they billed us for 3 nights, but we stayed for 4...so as honest people, we corrected this and paid the proper price.

Very nice

We spent two nights at Sari Bungalows and were pleasantly surprised given the low price. The room was large and clean, and the grounds were amazing. The bungalows are built along a small rice paddy, and the view from your deck is gorgeous. The sound of frogs and geckos at night is wonderful. Just a few minutes walk from the main Street, but far enough back not to be bothered by how busy Ubud has become (very). The only two cons were; the a/c was pretty weak and didn't really cool the room, and the mosquito net didn't actually fit the bed. Not a huge issue as the room isn't exactly open, but the eaves are and bugs can get in. A few of my wife's hair elastics solved the problem easily. Breakfast was also above par for the usual homestay fare. 

Beautiful grounds

We enjoyed our stay at the Sari Bungalow. Positive points: - The hotel is in the heart of Ubud on leaving the hotel you have everything in the vicinity (bars restaurants spas excursions) - Lovely staff and always at your disposal - A copious breakfast (don't be afraid to take nasi goreng for breakfast it's great) - Room tres cosy and large, there's a great kitchen which sounds very nice because we were able to get ourselves to eat ourselves - A little snack to get the laundry and eat his breakfast at the top! - Pteline tres clean this isn't the case with all the restaurants in Bali so think about the negative prices (and compared to the hotels in Bali) - Passing off the rich and not the cheap when you close your eyes and don't have a little ramangoon - We'll be able to get you to the hotel and negotiate the price of your car so if you're interested, we'll be able to get all the other hotels and treat you very well.

It's perfect.

This place was extremely cheap, which made me doubt its safety etc. but to my surprise, it was a very good place.
Slightly away from the main city area of Ubud but absolutely walking distance from the main street, this place was surrounded by all greens.
Very quiet and serene, this place is for all those people staying in for long durations. I would see a lot of guests staying outside all day just reading books in the veranda area/ balcony area.
The lady that manages the place is very sweet and kind. We reached here pretty late, around 10 pm or so. As the payment was to be made on the site, we were scared that she would have cancelled our booking, but she was waiting for us at the reception.
It is not luxury at all! But very very beautiful
Food can be a slight problem here, but there is a great pizza joint some 400 m down the street, towards the main road.
There is very minimal breakfast served at the bungalows, but their fruit salad and banana pancakes are great!
Would definitely recommend this place to economical travellers. Does not look like much, but it is a great experience.
They do accept final payment using card, at the reception.
P.S.: they did have a pool under construction when we left. Hopefully by the time you decide to visit, it will be ready. :)
