Hotel Tengger Indah??! Is it supposed to be a hotel?? It’s a den with cold water in the shower, without a washbasin (so how to brush my teeth?? We spit on the floor). It is very cold here because it is about 2000 meters above sea level but there is no heater. I take a cold shower and go to bed which isn’t clean. And it stinks!!
We stay here as part of a package tour but we're very disappointed with the whole package.
The room is very basic and breakfast is also very basic given in a carton box. They don't even serve coffee or tea! And the staff is rude.

...it's even worse than you can imagine! Not clean room, not dirty; very cold water; but above all, unfriendly hosting by people who don't trust you... all this for the modest sum of $34!

We don't have any expectations.

Don't go to this hotel, I got my laptop stolen in my locked room!!! Or replace the locks provided by yours. But frankly it's very easy to find much better! Because here, no bed linen or bath towel, no sink, dubious blankets...and a breakfast carton that ends up in the trash. In short, to avoid at all!!!

Attention!

We arrived at Cemoro Lagang at 11pm and at 4pm we were picked up to climb the Bromo so we only stayed about 5 hours. We arrived without reservations but there were plenty of free rooms, the owner was quite dry. The room was very austere and without heating so it was very cold, we slept with the shelter on. It is only recommended if you are going to spend so few hours that it is not worth wasting time looking for more.

For 4 hours acceptable

Dirty rooms, no hospitality. Breakfast is a shame (see photo). There are other hotels in this village. They take advantage of their proximity to Mount Bromo. You can go around Bromi-Ijen by yourself, without going through an agency that forces you to sleep in these unhealthy places and you pay a fortune.

Get away from me

Basic room. A big bemoal for this hotel: once in Probbolingo, we realized that we had forgotten some stuff behind the door of the room. After several calls from our hotel in Probbolingo, the Tengger Indah hotel refused to give us back the stuff we had forgotten (saying that there was nothing that belonged to us in this room)... If we offer you two pairs of rando sticks and a hot tub for rent or for sale: these are ours!!! Note for the future: always look behind the door before leaving a hotel...

Mediocre and dishonest

We arrived at 12pm because we had problems with transportation and there was no reception or anyone waiting for our arrival, so we had to call the rooms until a very good boy accompanied us to the manager's room, who was asleep.

If it's late, no one opens the door.

We were expecting it, thankfully! no sheets and cold!! but super blankets of the shot we were able to sleep and hot water for us the staff completely closed. if you have a choice, go elsewhere

It's a shame, because the corner is charming.

We stayed here as part of a package tour booked from Yogyakarta to Bromo/Ijen.  Overall the place was nicer than I expected given the lackluster reviews of these tours, and their included accommodation, in general.  The room was a bit chilly at night (no heat), and did not include any towels, although it had a private bathroom.  The most inconvenient thing, though, was that there was no sink (we had to brush our teeth with the shower then spit it either at the drain on the floor or toilet), and also that water temperature from the shower was not adjustable, and it was scalding hot.  The included breakfast was nothing special (no coffee even), but the view from the balcony was great.

Room really practical. Good location to go to mount Bromo, by feet, but that's it.
The room was not dirty but not really clean as well and the covers smell a bit.
No restaurant directly at the hotel but a little one just after on the road (cheap and good)
