If you stay overnight, you'll go to the bromo and break up at night. So the clarity of the container rooms is rather trivial. Simple but good food, an exemplary crew, what more do you want? Important travel advice: You can book the pick-up from Probolinggo train station at the hotel, just like you can book the night tour to the bromo, or of course the driver for the departure. Prices are fair and everything works smoothly.

We had a great stay. The staff was invaluable for booking our tour to Bromo and, Mr. Purwadi in particular, helping us getting the right train tickets from Probolingo to Yogjakarta. On the day of departure, they surprised us with perfectly travel-ready breakfast and lunch, which were delicious. Can highly recommend Ecolodge.

Simply Resort in Bromo

Very nice hotel, the rooms are containers that have everything you need and are very clean! Good dinner and breakfast. We organized a bromide jeep tour with them and we found ourselves very well. They also let us take a shower back from the volcano even though it was late. They also organize the transfer to and from Probolinggo Station. The price is not very cheap to be in Indonesia but the area is very touristy

Hotel very fun? The rooms are in fact containers that have the narrow interior of the indispensable, bed (laundry style sack to hair), a small bathroom nearby with 1 outlet and small bathroom with micro sink, toilet and shower. The staff (receptionist/ cook) very friendly and available, speak good English. We dined here because there is no other choice but we were very happy.

Bromo adventure hotel

Simple hotel with basic small rooms (no TV, no boiler or anything...) but the cleanliness is perfect. The staff is very helpful and caring. We were on our motorcycle and they made sure of our departure time and the place for sunrise. The food was good. The bedding is a bit aging and could be improved

Good hotel for the Bromo, very clean.

I’m not sure the exactly rate as we took the tour package and it is included in the price.
Location: Little far from entrance to Mt bromo as compare other popular accomodation such as cafe lava, bromo permai which are located not far from entrance. Doesn’t matter as we have our transport-Jeep. As this is little far, hence environment is quiet. 
Cleanliness: super comfy and clean. 
Facilities: provided drinking water, tissue, shampoo, bath utilities. Much more than budget hostel. 
Other: breakfast provided is simple yet nice.

Great stay in Mt Bromo

Clean.. comfortable, with super friendly staff. Can’t ask for more. A gem for what you are paying.

If you are just passing through on your tour you’ll be starting your tour at 3am the next day. So depending on what time you get in to the area, you aren’t spending much time there anyway and from what I saw, there wasn’t too much else going on in the area.

There is a comfortable dining area upstairs that offers views of the surrounding greenary. Ideal place to have a few beers, relax and wind down your day.

There are plenty of cheaper places around for sure. Small motels, Home stays etc, but depending on your comfort level... a majority I would say can be rather rustic. If you are used to rustic, then no issues. If you aren’t, this is the place for you.



Highly recommend if you don’t want to ‘suffer’ too much

My fiancé and I had a wonderful 2 night stay here while visiting Bromo Mountain, and overall I can highly recommend staying here.

First of all the WiFi is fast and reliable. Second - the rooms, while maybe a bit on the small side are clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff are all very welcoming and friendly (taking care of guests to the point where you feel more like family!) which really makes this feel like home. Lastly - they are more than helpful when you have any wishes - like booking a tour of Mount Bromo (at fair prices!), organising nicer than usual transport to and from the train station, or renting motorbikes or even a car.

The rooms are built into converted shipping containers which at very nicely decorated inside (you wouldn’t know it was a converted shipping container if someone didn’t tell you), and everything is quite new - contrary to other places in the area. Everything is very clean and very well taken care of.

The food is also excellent and quite delicious! They are always ready and waiting for you if you want any meals - unlike other hotels in the area (that greeted us with “the kitchen is closed now - no food available”). The Ecolodge staff are happy to prepare you delicious breakfast lunch and dinner!

Overall - I would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area and would myself stay again anytime. Don’t be disappointed with other places - stay here and enjoy a reliably relaxing time!

Great little place! Highly recommended!

Very good hotel to stay before the sunrise at Mount Bromo! Very good quality ratio compared to others, in this area all accommodation is expensive and this one was very good. It is located a little further away than those near the site, but it is not at all a concern. We just got up one hour earlier than the others (about 3am) but it was really worth the shot! Return to the hotel after the ascent for breakfast. If you don't get up from the sunrise, it will be fine too. The manager speaks a little French and is very friendly! They can arrange the excursion in a Jeep at Mount Bromo. The room is certainly for the short night but it is pretty much enough. I recommend you to stay in the hotel with the best hot tub and hot tub.
