Good budget and clean stay in Jimbaran area

The place has a lot of rooms that has more like a roadside villa vibe.  There are 3 pools but not really that large..just big enough to hang out in when you are feeling hot. There is a gym but it's more of an outdoor space with two machines.  You have to walk around 10-20 minutes to get to the nearest convenience store and to an area with some local warungs to get a bite to eat.  They do have a cafe here with local and western meals. 

The rooms we were shown were a bit disappointing. We had requested for single beds but this place only offers queen or king-sized beds which unfortunately was not communicated back to us. The room we were given was spacious but the mosquito net advertised for the beds were old and had stains. The bathroom just had a wall and a door that acted like a divider. You can hear what a person is doing in the bathroom. The bathtub had some stains and it felt like the tub would give away if you stood on it too long. I would stay here for just a day or two.

For European reasons, I wouldn't recommend that... rooms have been checked but not booked. Everything looked a little messy. Price would be ok performance rather less. There is better.

I came here because my Australian friend lives in jimbaran and she actually put me on to this place, she stayed there for 2 months before living in Bali. I've never stayed at a home stay I've always stayed in 5 star hotels. 
First of all the bed was super comfortable and the smell of the sheets very so good, better than a what I wash my sheets in back home.
The shower was great, toilet and shower in the one room. The water pressure was so good and the hot water was hot hot which I found great on the rainy days.
TV in the room and a huge fridge also for stocking up on bintang 😉. 
Everyday I had breakfast at the canteen there eggs and banana pancakes were my favourite, was great so much flavor. The cappacino I had was always good and so sweet.
Lastly the pool was clean, it was the little square one near my room. They have a total of 3 pools. Staff would bring ya a drink there if needed.
Overall a my stay was good was there for 4 nights and would definitely go back here if I was staying longer.
The staff was great and spoke good English well enough to know what you wanted.
Would highly recommend this home stay Kampung 168.
I also found a coco mart was close by and also the statue GWK. They just finished building it. 
Was a great view from up the top of the hill. It's a must do. 👌🏼
