I had a good experience staying there . Neat and clean rooms with spacious washroom at this price. The tv screen is too minuscule that i wasn't bothered to turn it on. King size beds and linens are neat and comfy.
Entrance is one rear side of the hotel, which is a let down. I guess the hotel has a wierd layout to comply with bar liscence regulations , there is no direct access from the main road you have to walk , narrow margins.
Food is costly through room services, but good food. There is a rooftop restaurant. The local bar on the basement is too local, untidy and not maintained properly. There is a seperate bar upstairs, which is air-conditioned with very good seating but with limited choice of beer and drinks. The blue ambient light inside the bar was intense and there is no alternative choice of lighting, which will be irritating after 5 to 10 minutes.
I was curious initially to know why this name 'Aquarock' was given to this hotel. For my surprise, there is a huge rock and big pond, hopefully formed from a discarded stone quarry beside the hotel.
Overall, a good budget friendly business class hotel with gym, conference hall, laundry services etc.

Excellent location.. courteous staff, especially the front office female staff from Bengal.. remarkable room service..

Travelled for a wedding in the outskirts of trivandrum , was the closest hotel i could find. With family , 2 rooms on the second floor.

Cost : Budget hotel
Pros:
- Considering the location this is a good hotel since in such locations one can only find lodges.
- The room layout is large and sufficient furniture and bathroom fixture

Cons:
Untrained hotel staff, i suspect some of them are minors (by their looks). But they are courteous and helpful.
The hotel is trying to get a Bar license therefore it has a wierd layout to comply with regulations , no direct access from the main road you have to walk , narrow margins.
An operation restaurant was not seen , we used to buy our food from outside , even the break fast is limited.
I believe this hotel is still deciding what it wants to be , does it want to be a Restaurant / Bar a convention centre or a lodge.

If necessity demands you to be in this location this is a hotel you can manage with.

One of the best hotels we had stayed. The room was big and spacious. Comfortable stay. The bed quality was excellent. Great food and nice room service. We had a very nice stay. The roof top restaurant is awesome. Around 11 km from Trivandrum Railway station. well connected.

Very Fine family hotel

Staff were very friendly. That itself makes stay in hotels a pleasure.
Room was quite good - had the basic amenities.
Food served in the restaurant was quite tasty - but pricing was slightly on the higher side.
There are food outlets near the hotel but they open quite late in the morning.

Aquarock Hotel - Not a bad place to stay

Starting of the stay was a blunder.
The manager comes for a demo of power switches. The power fluctuations were on for first 30 min. They couldn't sort out the problem. 
They don't have any amenities.
Over priced. 
Restaurant doesn't have a menu card.
Rooms are not serviced daily basis.
Not a value for money!
Since it was an oyo room, I went for it. Feel heavily cheated.

I went to stay in this hotel to attend a marriage at Thiruvananthapuram. I along with my family checked in at about 2pm on 24th of January, 2016. We enquired about food at the reception, and they said that they were sorry that the restaurant was closed. It would open in the evening. After some talk with the restaurant cook, they finally made some food. The food was average, but the bill was exorbitant. 
The hotel website speak about certain amenities in the hotel. They are slippers, sewing kit, free wifi, soap, shampoo, moisturiser, shower cap, shaving kit, dental kit, shoe shine, comb, pen & pencil, scrubbing pad and packaged drinking water. I can assure you that none of the above mentioned articles are provided in the hotel. This is just for the web site only. 
We stayed in a double room with AC. The room was neat, but very small even for a family of three that we were. 
There is a 'travel desk'. Yes, there is only the desk there. No one is available to enquire something. Even the reception look likes a haunted place at times. The main problem with this hotel is that it is extremely under staffed. 
The staff that are available are well behaved and mannered
