Visited this hotel in May 2023. We all were females and little bit apprehension, but the staff was nice and cooperative. Food is nice and rooms were average but I think we should not expect much at this place. It is near to CM house and a very beautiful view   is there as you just come down to few meters,
Over all we enjoyed our stay

This is quite a good place which is easily accessible. The meals are okay with not much variety. Not all the rooms have have mountain view or valley view. The building is quite old but renovated for comfortable stay.

Very friendly and cooperative staff....at all levels, manager, receptionist, servers everyone was very courteous and helpful...the hotel is neat n clean , rooms are huge and good spread of food...I really enjoyed my stay.

One of best hotels to stay in Gangtok. Homely stay, check in process was smooth & very fast, Good quality food & all staffs are very supportive & courteous.Especially touched by PRATIKSHA CHHETRI Ma'am 's behaviour, really sweet & kind towards all of us. We have to leave early morning 6:00 clock  for flight & she got our breakfast ready & packed for the way ,really a sweet & kind gesture & excellent service.

Excellent Hospitality

Mann Tamarind was one of the best hotel to stay in Gangtok. The staff was really amazing. The food was delicious and our family really enjoyed the stay. We had a special request as one of the young kid birthday was on the same day as our visit and the staff really helped us to make his birthday a special one. They coordinated really well and they made sure we had a nice pleasant stay. The rooms were neat and clean. Thanks again to all the staff for making our stay a memorable one. 

Amazing Hotel

Mann Tamarind, Another Home to us going forward. We had a pleasant and homely stay at Mann Tamarind. 

Starting with the restaurant and room service, they were really passionate about what they are delivering for their customers. Extremely polite and friendly and accommodative. 

Room service is at your door step within few mins. 

Robin, Pratiksha in the front desk are amazing. They help you with everything that you need. Friendly and easily approachable.

The supervisor in the reception gives you guidelines on what is best for you apart from your schedule.

The rooms are really clean, they provide you with shampoo and bubble liquid and soap.  

The food was really tasty and simple. If you are looking for some home food types then this is the place for you to go. 

Mann Tamarind and Hospitality

I stayed for only one night, but really liked the overall stay here. The staff was very supportive and courteous. The room is spacious and food taste was really good. Overall it was a happy stay for me and will surely prefer Mann Tamarind in future if I travel to Gangtok again.

We visited the Mann Tamarind Residency during peak Sikkim winters and were greeted by an incredibly beautiful property at a picturesque location, manned by the nicest members of staff.

We had booked a beautiful suite which came with all amenities, with a dash of style. The service was impeccable, especially as the staff stepped up to help us avail medicines late in the evening (the city shuts shop early) as we encountered a medical emergency.

We were touched by the hospitality of Mr. Amit and his team and can't wait to come back again!

Excellent hospitality

We reached the hotel around after-noon time straight from the bagdogra airport. The check-in process was very smooth. It took us less than 10 mins to complete all the paperwok formailities and make the pending payments towards the property. The room we got was on the 6th floor. It was valley facing and the view was just awesome. Room size was huge. It was very spacious. The bathroom was spacious as well with all the facilities from hot water, to hair dryer and toiletries. The hotel has both room service and food available in the cafeteria. They serve buffet(Veg and Non Veg), and the quality of the food is very good. They have salads, Soups and deserts in addition to the main course. The staff is very cooperative, well behaved, cutomer obessesed. Special thanks to Mr Amit Mazumder who helped us to book our ride to Nathula pass/Tsomgo Lake. Over all we had a great time in our 3 nights that we spent in Gangtok. The MG Road from the hotel is around 1 km downhill walk. While coming back if you don't feel like walking(elevation), then you can book a taxi for 150INR to the hotel from MG road. The only area of improvement I can suggest is to have larger LED screens as clearly 32 inches is not enough for the size of the room. 

Breakfast served is also very good - Idlies, Vada's, Upmas, Puri Bhaji, Paranthas, Bread's are some of the items that we tried.

Hotel was very much clean and very fancy that we loved our stay in this hotel .
We wish to stay here in our later trips too . The staff was very cooperative and caring towards us and the rooms are very spacious and neat , clean to live in .
The ma'am which welcomed us - Pratiksha chetri ma'am was really sweet and kind towards us .
We really enjoyed their company with the hotel staff .
