I stayed here whilst on a group tour of India, we had stayed here twice during the tour and I also opted to stay an extra night here once the tour ended as I was very happy with the service and the location is fantastic. The hotel is family run and you truly do feel welcome and supported, the staff are very kind and happy to genuinely help during your stay. The rooms are basic (as is most of accommodation in India) but comfortable, clean and contain all of the amenities needed. The A/C worked a treat and was very much needed in the Kochi heat. The location is the best part and my reason for staying an extra night, a very short walk from princess street containing shops and lots of delicious restaurants and a 100 rupee tuk tuk ride from Jew Town and the various attractions neighboring there. It is easy to get an Uber to the airport from here with one arriving in 5 minutes or less for a very reasonable price. The only negative comment I would say is the beds are quite hard, if you like a hard bed then great but it is also more than manageable for a short stay.  Definitely  recommend!

Comfortable hotel in a great location with exceptionally helpful staff

I've experienced the best hospitality ever in this hotel. The staff, Teenu and Nirmala is always very kind and try to help our trip better as much as they can. The room is also comphy, clean and classy. The design of this building is also lovely. I'll stay in the hotel again on my next trip to Kochi definitely. Highly recommended. The best hospitality in Kochi

Lovely quiet place to stay. Very clean and staff are so lovely and kind. Stayed here with friends and then one night solo and I felt very safe. The gardens are very nice and there are peacocks roaming about too. 
 

Brilliant little place to stay 

I had a great stay (2 nights) at Gama Heritage Residency while on tour in Kerala.
Great location - walking distance to restaurants, sites and shopping. 
Lovely staff - Teenu was friendly and helpful.
Would recommend.

Great stay

Very comfy and clean, my boyfriend and I came for one night on a stop over on a GA Adventures tour. The room was big, the bed comfy and the bathroom was good. We are returning in a few days. They said we can leave luggage and have washing done while we're away.

Short one night stay

We had a great time at Gama Heritage Residency! 
The lady at the reception was very helpful and gentle, dedicating to us a lot of her time to solve some problems we had. 
The breakfast was rich and the room clean and comfortable, with enjoyable chattering of birds early in the morning.

My wife and I stayed for almost two weeks at Gama Residency and loved it. The location is excellent - easy walk to everything but a little secluded and not in tourist central. The room was simple, clean and comfortable. But above all, the staff was excellent. I can’t say enough about how much we came to appreciate the generosity and genuine hospitality of Nirmala, Jincy and Ajith. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home. Breakfast was excellent. Highly recommend

Friendly staff, very spacious room and bathroom. Breakfast was good for the price. Good location and absolutely quiet. Perfect ending for my three weeks long trip from north to south of India. Be aware of mosquitoes in the evening. 

Loved it

We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks. We were a group of 18, 14 students and 4 "staff" -
 I was one of them. This is likely the best price and location in Fort Cochi. Located in a courtyard, near the bishop house, this place is quiet and safe. You can walk everywhere from this residence.The staff is amazingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast are simple and delicious- taste their ginger coffee!. AC is available, upon request and fridg work only when lights are on. Rooms- like nun cells- are simple and beautiful. Highly recommending this place
